About my videos: These videos are a resource for anyone wishing to wake up from the dream of separation. Awakening, enlightenment, and liberation are becoming far more mainstream possibilities than they once were. There are many good teachers out there, and if you resonate with the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, or Sadhguru, you might find resources here that address these deeper promptings to investigate your true nature.
Disclaimer: The information presented in these videos is not meant to diagnose or treat any psychiatric or medical illness. The inquiries presented herein are potent and can have powerful effects on the way you experience yourself and reality. If you feel you are at risk of harming yourself or others, these videos and practices may not be the best thing for you at the moment. Seek help wherever necessary which might include a hospital emergency department, a suicide helpline etc.

"Lean toward vulnerability. Lean toward not knowing." Thank you. It's so hard being in the void. A foot in both worlds. Can't move forward, can't go backwards. The ego is out of moves and not happy about it. So, I just Be.

Creativity can bloom forward from 'void' . Like dancing, sketching, talking, playing, singing, making others laugh. Involvement is natural and free flowing.

Thank you @bethhayes1 ! I was just about to say something and needed clarification about “lean toward vulnerability….” and the first comment here was yours :)
I actually don’t know how to do it. To lean toward not knowing. Or when I think I am nothing is showing up. Other than fear and grief. A lot if it.
Is my expectations fooling me? Is that it? Am I actually expecting something to make me free? Something to make me at peace? Some clarity and some relief? Yes I think so.

What do you know when no thoughts arise?....What then is perception....where is there sadness and fear without thought about it?....is there knowledge at all then?

Emptiness insight has brought such freedom. The thoughts that seemed to previously cause such suffering are nothing more than formless empty shimmering appearance, such a lightness, the same with emotions. A recent insight for me is seeing that emotional work is not other than realisation or Buddha nature if you will. Not trying to sit with something solid and real like “fear” but even the fear is an empty unfindable ungraspable appearance, even the difficult thoughts are just pure freedom. It’s found everywhere. Such a relief

I can’t believe I hadn’t seen Papaji’s video about 4 minutes to enlightenment! I just went and watched it and the same thing happened to me that happened with that woman. It happened a few months ago and I couldn’t stop laughing and crying! It was like hearing the funniest joke in the world! 😂🤣😂

Angelo you said "what's the reason for all this suffering? No reason.". There's a reason, it's for safety. Like 90% of the suffering is for safety. It's suffering, because you're afraid to be yourself.

Pain (emotional, physical or both) x resistance = suffering.. pain is coming. Challenges are always on the way.. if you can reduce your Resistance by increasing equanimity, you can have a 10 in pain, a 5 in resistance ….vs a 10 (for example) then we just reduced the suffering quotient
… equanimity is a completely cultivatable skill.

What is actually going on when we “place our attention” on something? Is the universe amplifying that sense to produce the illusion of focus?

@@SimplyAlwaysAwake speaking personally, it feels as though “moving my attention” reinforces this idea of an observer that’s hard to shake. Though conceptual, seeing from a perspective of not-focusing/moving attention and instead from “everything is already in focus” feels more like actually “doing nothing.” Thoughts?

    • @SimplyAlwaysAwake
      @SimplyAlwaysAwake  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@James-mk8jp it may be a good pointer for you. However if you find yourself repeatedly in the momentum of thought then your attention is already being controlled through habituation so it can take sone effort to break that spell (for most people). Everyone is different tho.

I always hear about how awakening is "not understandable by the human mind" but it's the human that wakes up?
You're a human w a brain like mine which you say is functionally different than others who haven't woken up.
But somehow this awakening is "beyond cause and effect" but yet there's a path (meditation, 8fold path, whathaveyou) to get there...
If a fitness TH-camr told me to do bicep curls and eat healthy and it would take my fitness "beyond the body" it would make no sense but yet this is how you talk.
I just don't get it. How can one aspire for something that is beyond cause and effect. This is the most aggravating things about Buddhism.
You're supposed to have faith and persist but what's the point to persist if the grand goal is unconditioned anyway.
    Does my head in

    • @InfinityCurve

I'm not saying your disingenuous it's just no matter how many talks like this I listen to I don't get it.
And I need to get it to trust it.
To persist without trust is a recipe for pain in my experience.
Maybe I just need a taste? Some sort of undeniable proof that all the naval gazing isn't for nothing.

Let's just say that at a certain point in the path that your intellect is following, you start to have experiences that are non-intellectual and very difficult to talk about. They contradict the way the human intellect functions and therefore can't be grasped that way. I'm just an unenlightened worldling though so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I’m not letting myself feel something. It’s deep and dark which makes it invisible to me. It feels like all these years of seeking have been a gentle tug to come down to this face off with my worst nightmares. My protective self still won’t let me see what’s been knocking but I see it causing havoc in my relationships with self and others. My wife catches the brunt. What am I hiding? 🫣
