Ecotech Mp40 UNBXOXING & SET UP!

I had 2 Hydor powerheads die at the same exact time. I made a snap decision to invest in 2 MP40s and have never been happier. These powerheads are worth every penny. I had one dry side start making noise way outside of the warranty and Ecotech replaced it no questions asked.

I got a Tunze Turbelle Nanostream and it has been running straight for 5-6 years. Got a return pump from Jebao which runned for 4 years... shutdown the aquarium and set up a Red Sea Nano Max Peninsula now... looking for a AI Nero 3 I think...

I gotta get an ato after Xmas I think, other than that the tank is doing pretty well, don’t think I need a skimmer, but the ato will make it easier for me to keep on top of water top ups instead of topping up 2-3 times a day, but coz my tanks almost a year old now it’s definatley stabilised heaps, so I’m not as worried about spending a bit more money on some new acans and maybe some nice pink or orange hammers 🥰👊🍻

The wire retainers help, but for the store environment, you can put double sided tape on the dry side as well, much safer especially with people walking around, or kids that pull, even staff cleaning!

Thoughts on labeling/display for the Fragoon. You take something to label the colony number or letter. Then take the frags that coincide with the colony and put it on a glass frag rack with the matching letter and the price for the frag.

Can you control Ecotech MP40 with both Ecotech software and Neptune Apex ? I'm trying to figure out what will be easyer to use to stop the pumps when feeding

Everytime I hear I'm going to do ????? It never happens. It be nice to see aquamaxx bullet 2 and 3 for the I'm going to set up all these nano skimmers. So many ppl run AIO these days it be nice to actually see a good skimmer.

Hey March, have you guys thought about using the nero 5 or 7 instead of the mp40 on the backside since the its a shallow tank and the nero's shoot a much more narrow cone than the MP's, which might help with pushing water further without moving the substrate possibly. Keep up with the great videos.👍

FYI I was referring to the fact it looks Sic and it was a Shame that the corals had to be sold and they couldn't grow out over the fragoon.
