HOW much did the drug companies make from the Covid vaccine???
$100 .... yup, closer to $60 a year or 2 ago.
60 bucks was more like 2015-16 prices .... 2 years ago 2022 hell in 2020 is more like 80 to 85 bucks if you can get them on sale.
I am eating healthier now... but that on the table is all I'm eating for a week, two weeks if I can help it and I'm only feeding myself, God help anybody with a family
Likewise, cordially from Québec.
You are on pint my friend. I spent 124.00$ at Sobeys yesterday and got it all in one brown paper bag 🤦🏼♂️ unreal the damage the lib/ndp/bloc has done.
You are so right! More and more government devouring resources - less and less of everything for the rest of us.
Thank you for posting. I'm not even friends with liberals anymore, too tiring to have a conversation with anyone who votes that way..
I'm planning on shopping out of their carts in the parking lot this winter, they are easy to spot, Northface jacket, Blundstones and a full cart of food. MY full cart of food, thanks for shopping for me.

Our family's struggling. I'm in my early 30s and the Canadian dream has become a nightmare. We can no longer eat properly. No more dream of a basic shelter, food, health care, and education no longer exist.
yup they are out of touch and have NO CLUE what working life is like because they've never worked a day in their life
It’s like that in Ontario as well! We need an election NOW! I agree with you! 🕊️🙏👏👏
"Elections" is what made this happen. Anger is what's needed to undo the corruption.
It’s worse in Ontario actually
Ontario and Quebec are the entire reason the entire country is in this mess!
😡🤬

Grocery stores are making record profits… charging more than they need to and the government is just letting them… canned goods, which used to be relatively cheap are now 2-3+$ a can for everything. They know cans sit on the shelves for a long time and they don’t want people having food security.
Lastly this is not a Canadian problem but a global problem…
I would say global trend. But if Canada wasn't printing money like mad, to prop up terrible policies like locking down society and crushing small businesses, inflation wouldn't be an issue. They created this. They all know the recipe for economy hardship. This was absolutely deliberate
It's not a global problem at all. It's a western problem checkmout tucker carlson in Russia grocery shopping. It will blow your mind.
You are paying 4 levels of carbon tax plus a clean fuel standards tax by the time products reach your table. How do you fall for the propaganda that it’s corporate greed and not the government taxing us into starvation??? If conservatives win and Pierre chops carbon taxation, then you will see food come down. All of those taxes are passed on to consumers one way or another.

The prices are absolutely sickening!!
Yup, I just got two bags of groceries and it just nudged over $100.
I bought 1 bag of groceries for a sick friend plus 3 lbs of butter on sale, $5 each! $63. Food is becoming a luxury under this ndp/liberal/bloc coalition government. The politicians and bureaucrats keep getting fatter at the public trough, soon it will be time to consider the other meat source...
Good. Short. Sweet. Succinct. and TRUE. Hang in there, Brother. There's a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. Canadians will be happy soon.
Pray you are right
Its so sick
We used to have a saying: "Tough times in the Maritimes", then Cheech and Chong made the movie Things Are Tough All Over" (1982) and we kinda balked at it. Nowadays, things ARE tough _all over_ the country. There is another reason for this... and it isn't inflation. I would say it here but it will be flagged or deleted. Lets just say that some ministers in the caucus have something to do with it.
So sick of the liberal NDP bullshit
and yet the NDP followers are not revolting over their leader?
You have to remember. They think Equality in poverty is so much better than everyone having a much higher living standard, though unequal living standards. Their ideology is warped.

I'm pretty sure our spineless leader has seen it. He knows. He's a WEF stooge. He knows what he's doing. He doesn't care. He's a narcissist. total was 194$ without counting the gas to get there....
I just paid $98 dollars for about 100 meals of food from bulk barn. Dry beans, lentils, barley, chia seeds, and coffee. I recommend buying whole, dry, and learning to prepare wholesome meals.
That's a pretty balanced diet though, with all the food groups.

Agreed! Why are we paying such an unequal amount of money for our share compared to the rest of the world for everything we “chip in” for? We spend, are demanded we pay/“donate”, and give away money like we have a huge population and money like the US but we’re being taxed to death and can’t feed ourselves or take care of our own people in need. It has to STOP! Canadians can’t take it anymore- we are all losing our Quality of Life, except the Rich.

I remember when I could walk out of the grocery store with a full bag of groceries and only spent $20.00
Lol.. Cool story bro. Now the weather
My pockets get lower every time I go to the grocery store and have to put $20 each time for gas in my car. I just spent $18 for a couple ToFu, BBQ sauce, 3 tomatoes, and 2 cucumbers. It's getting ridiculous, we need Justin Turdo terminated. I'm tired of stretching my money, till next payday. After paying bills, I only have a little bit of cash for food and gas. Plus I have to pay back money to collect agency, for a credit card. they sent me a small claims court letter. So I asked them to put a hold on the court case if I start making payments. I guess I'll find out if I still have to go to court, I have all the receipts to show the Judge that I started making payments. That's $200 monthly of my hard earned money, I have to pay them.

Or 10 bags of apples… wait 8. I forgot to add the tax. Oh wait I forgot to add the gas to drive to get the apples. So maybe 4 bags??
How do we like them apples folks?
you forgot the 20% tip for self checkout and bagging your food
Apples aren’t taxed in Canada. Most healthy food at the grocery store doesn’t not have tax. Only snack foods, cakes, cookies, etc are taxed. Not that it’s that much better, I’m just saying.
not that grocery prices aren't high but people really got to learn how to grocery shop. you pay a premium to buy items not on sale and not in bulk. like 2 onions is probably 4 bucks while a bag is 5
That's why I buy everything big. Agreed
Where I live in MB that pack of awesome bacon and that big roast is at least $70+. Butter and the cheese close to ten each. The gas for the drive to get it....your first born.
Probably more in Newfoundland. That chunk of dead cow would be closed to $90 or a $100. 2 liter of milk would $5. Bacon, close to $10. Cheese, $10 or more, butter, $5. Carrots and onions, $6 or $8. Oh, don't forget, we have a 15% sales tax. Gas , as of this writing, $1.62 a liter. I don't smoke but the "cheap" ones are $20. The more expensive ones are $23 or a little more.
That cheese is 1.2 kg it’s more like $30
