its not always the prettiest due to book heights but i just go straight alphabetical as its just the quickest way for me to find something

I only have about sixty manga volumes (discounting the amount of volumes in omnibuses) in my collection, which contains two completed series and like a few series I’m mostly up to date on when it comes to the latest volume, but anyways I use four shelves for them. All of them are organized alphabetically per shelf. One with manga volumes I only have one volume of, and that are not a priority to complete the series of right now. And then the two large shelves which house the series I’ve completed and/or are a priority to collect. Then there’s my shelf for an out of print manga that was translated to my native language that I do have all of the volumes of, but due to water damage I’m still looking to get one volume replaced.
Anyways, there’s a few other stray manga volumes that are not on these manga shelves for various reasons. I do have a few volumes in German and French that I bought as souvenirs, also there’s a manga that was inspired by a book series I really like, so that manga is on the shelf dedicated to that series.
The rest of my shelves are just my normal books, the small side shelves are mostly for books in my native language or other languages than English (though there are exceptions) and the large middle ones are for English books, with a fantasy shelf, a science fiction shelf, a classics shelf, a modern fiction shelf, two manga shelves, and two empty shelves I’m still deciding on what to use them for.

Wow! First time I’ve seen someone with the full assassination classroom and quintessential quintuplets! Also love your collection a lot of different genres and publishers! :)
Also when putting in manga volumes, I realise you put it in front forward, I recommend putting the bottom corner on the side of the book in the gap first, it’s way easier and nothing gets caught! ( sorry I’m not good at describing, aha

I honestly just organize them by wish series looks visually appealing next to another. I dont like sticking Series that are have white covers next to each other. so ill add a series with colored covers like Dai Dark to seperate them and make the series stand out more.
Very nice collection i just recently started up collecting manga again i used to 10 years ago then stopped and i lately missed it so i decided to collect again any manga you recommend anyone getting into or back into manga collecting 😊
If you haven’t read demon slayer yet i would highly recommend it. Also spy x family and chainsaw man.
Awesome shelves! Maybe if your organising by publishers then make it so no two share a shelf/cube/space? XD means there is always a little wiggle room so you don't gotta redo it ALL every time... plus it will spread it out a little more if you ever wanted to collect figures of certain series? idk
I use the billy bookcases from ikea for all my books, all of my manga is on one (though a few manga are boxed elsewhere and one shelf is marvel not manga lol so far only one shelf is double stacked so I need risers >.< I have them oragnised in a weird way lol. Top shelf is Yaoi/Bl, then the marvel shelf because its the biggest space because its normal person height xD then below that is my favourites which only fits black butler and Requiem of the rose king now and only because of stacking XD below is the double-stacked shelf with completed series in the back row (Ai Ore, Ouran and 3 of Kaori Yuki's series) then in front is just alphabetised by series, all the "normal" sized volumes, shelf below has rest of them then the "taller" volumes in a separate alphabet, then bottom shelf for all my tall/hardback volumes lol
Thanks for the tips! I will definitely be upgrading my shelfs to deep ikea shelfs so i can double stack. Im also thinking about starting to collect marvel and dc any recommendations?
