I have one and I agree with all of your points, especially the backup camera being absolutely horrible. I also wish both the gas lever and the parking brakes were buttons. And the sunroof should have been a Panasonic moon roof. LED lights inside the cabin would’ve been really nice too. Otherwise, I really love my car.

I just got myself a 2020 nissan versa sv. i'm a toyota person but i think I dropped the gun too fast and this is what i ended up leaving the lot with, lol i'm grateful though, its the perfect car for me. all glory to god! I bought a brand new 2020 Nissan Sentra SV. It has been a nightmare. I’ve already had to fix both back door locks, the back up camera, the tint on the back window TWICE, and I had to buy 4 brand new tires at only 23,000 miles. Add to that, I have TWO in cabin rattling noises. One in the dashboard and the other I cannot tell where it’s coming from. Trying to get rattling noises fixed has been a royal PITA. Because the servicemen always say it’s not rattling while it’s with them. I finally got the dash rattle “fixed” but it’s back, same rattle. Most of my repairs were done while in the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. But now that warranty is expired. I’ve not had an ounce of peace with this car. It still only has 27,000 miles on it and the amount of time I spend at service is completely mental. As far as the quality of the back up camera, I think it’s fine. I’ve since driven a new Honda Civic and a new Jetta and their back up cameras are worse quality. Has anyone had these issues with their 2020 Nissan Sentra SV ?
I don’t want this car anymore, but now we’re in 2024, car prices are through the roof, interest rates are up and I can’t afford to trade it in. I am just so bummed. This wasn’t the experience I expected to have buying a brand new car.

Funny going down a model fixes the parking brake issue, manual version gets a actual hand brake! (Not sure USA gets the manual. But we do in Canada ) Also going up a model to the sr, one of the features is the knee area is leather wrapped and padded with the same door material. I just wish the sr was available with a manual and the 2.5 liter from the Altima like the old se-r Sentras. Or even better the new turbo from the Altima with a manual. That car with 250ish hp would be amazing!!!!

@@majorpayne5289 Brakes were terrible. Found myself downshifting often just to avoid having to hard brake in order to stop. Tech inside was great, good ride too. But I wouldn't do it again on account of the brakes. No idea if that is a common problem or if I just got a bad one. But with only 12k miles on it the dealer refused to cover the work necessary. And even after the "fix" they were terrible. Tried to tell me I 'rode' the breaks. Nonsense. My other car has 40k miles on the original brakes. I know how to drive.

I bought the 2021 Nissan Sentra SR with premium package this past January 2021. Great car except for the horrible paint job. It looked great a few months ago, but it has so many tiny scratches and a hand full of paint chips it spoils my initial feeling about the car. I never owned a car that had its paint/clearcoat made so inferior and cheap. It really is disappointing that a brand new car in a matter of months looks like crap.
I just bought this exact same car and love it 39 mpg couldn’t ask for more👍
