I remember hearing this for the first time when I bought this album the day it came out. I felt an overwhelming sense of euphoric uplifting relief as this amazing instrumental played.
“It Is Through GOD, By Command Has Withdrawn Every Other Throne.” “And GOD Is Saying, “No, These People Will Deal With Me, Alone.” Damn!!! That To Me Speaks How All WILL Be Accountable Come Judgement Day!! POWERFUL!!!
@@DivineBeings777 who? As far as I have seen: Jeremy has confirmed that he isn’t of the faith anymore, John also isn’t, and I haven’t seen mason, guiseppe, or Kyle say anything about their spirituality. The only one I would guess to be close is Mike, but he has shown much doubt recently as well
Used this song as the entrance of groomsmen, bridesmaids, ringbearer, flower girl, and officiant in my wedding. Literally couldn't have been more perfect.
I just. Words really cant explain what this song makes me feel. It's like somethings ending a new chapter begins. Yet the ending is so sad, but you know its for a reason.
First time I heard this song it was live and it was the first time I realized that Mike could play guitar. It was so sick.... These guys are my fav HXC band
I have no religion nor beliefs in God, yet I feel how passionate and powerful this song is, since is was written in full faithfulness. Respect! I love TDWP!
Just want to let all of you know the lyrics in this song is quoted by Paul washer. There is a video on TH-cam where Paul says exactly whats spoken in this song, its called The judgement of God and the Great White Throne- Paul Washer quoted at 22:24- 22:40
This is TDWP's best song. There! I said it. They have at least a dozen of incredible compositions, but this is so immersive, so compact, so... fucking... right.

So i have a group of songs that all seem to be similarly powerful: The Devil Wears Prada - Kansas August Burns Red - Meridian Underoath - Casting Such a Thin Shadow Norma Jean - Disconnecktie What say you? Any others to add??
4 years is nothing. I mean, any song that doesn't "hold up" after decades and decades (let's talk jazz, blues, rock-n-roll, country, swing, punk, etc) and even centuries (hi, classical) wouldn't be much of a song, now would it?
I heard this on the radio the other day and was convinced it was GIAA or Russian Circles, I had no idea these guys had ever done an instrumental track. Nice!
Any recommendations for this type of song? I check out the discography of this band and honestly didn't like it but I think the song is fire so I would like to know more about this type of music.
It's very post-rock inspired, I would recommend If These Trees Could Talk, Mogwai, God is an Astronaut, Isis, bands like that. This has a metalcore edge to it tho, so it's not exactly the same, but you can hear the inspiration.

Enjoy your 20s, man. It's all downhill after 30.
This song is too good. gives you chills. I love it
Same here, it's so soothing! I love listening to it at night while looking up at the stars

this song is so simple yet so powerful.
TRUE! Plus the album cover, just a skull, but means so much!

Simple is powerful. (Please don't forget that.)
Simple is genius
The greatest instrumental of all time (for me)
“It Is Through GOD, By Command Has Withdrawn Every Other Throne.”
“And GOD Is Saying, “No, These People Will Deal With Me, Alone.”

A song to take you places that you can't explain.
Underoath reference i love it
the instrumental itself makes me feel so good. it's so honest in its simplicity, yet really really powerful and heavy
First time I saw this live I lost my shit. The lead singer came out and played guitar to, it was one of the sickest moments of teenage years.
Definitely one of the instrumentals that got me into the music that I like today
This is in my Top 5 favorite instrumental songs of all time 👌🏻
