I know this is from 9 years ago but OH MY GOSH thank you. I’ve been struggling to grasp the concept of increasing and decreasing. The way you describe everything just slicks in my brain and I totally get it now. Thank you so much!!!

I feel I have to write this to you. I am 60 years old and this past summer my sister taught me how to single crochet and double crochet. Not familiar with it at all I took to you tube to find a way to make a pair of slippers, my first project. Everything was too hard and I came across your puckerless slippers. Well I have made several pairs for my grandchildren. Your way of teaching is wonderful. Please continue for all those out there that want to learn. I have since made a sweater and your adorable rabbit. It is fun to create. Thank you for all your work!

Linda Vukobratovich I just came across this tutorial & your comment reminded me of me! We are about the same age & both learned to crochet about the same time. I taught myself by watching TH-cam videos and I agree with you about this tutorial. I have made hats for my grandchildren. I am definitely going to make this bunny too! I just had to say hi to a fellow new person at crochet & the same age as well. Happy stitching!☺️

I’m 11 and I have been crocheting for 6 yrs, from when I started to now I feel like you are the one who as been my stepping stool because I tried so many different tutorials but yours were the easiest ones to follow as a beginner and even now. They are fun and make you feel like you actually made something amazing, earlier I made the amigurumi ice cream. I’m writing this because no one in my family that actually crocheted (just 2 people) was part of it, and so you played the role, thank you so much for this amazing learning experience.

The only trouble I've had with both bunnies is trying to keep the stitch count right. No matter what I do, I've either got too many or not enough. After trying various ways to make invisible joins at the end of a round, I'm back to making a slipstitch. Out of all the different ways to hide that uneven seam, I find this way much better. It's the only way really, to get the rows even. If there is a seam, it isn't as ugly as the ones you get with other methods.

+Irruvivy Thank you I have an asperger syndrome and this is the way I deal with severe depressions. I have red on the pinterest- I crochet, that´s why I do not kill people. Does it say a lot? Shame most patterns are written I could not understand those. We- I mean autistic are- special and we are good if we have a hobby. I´m really grateful for those patterns.

+Petra Lucie Žaloudíková Omg I have Adult ADHD and ADD all rolled into one hot mess. And I am dyslexic as well. Im a hot mess, but crochet is the one thing I can do very well because I am multitasking. I have learned through past experience that the best way I can function is by multitasking and doing more than one thing at once. It keeps my mind occupided and I found I dont get distracted because I am focusing on so many things at one time when I crochet. I think you will be great at it! I would love to see your final result of this project if you decide to make it!

+Brenda Kocourek Thank you. I did two of those, an elephant, some heads and baby booties. I fell in love with broom stitch and crocodile stitch and you are right about the multitasking. Counting my stitches and watching movie in english and writing on skype with my friend in my own language, keeps my mind busy enough to keep my severe depression and other problems under control. Your name is from my language and means male kitten- did you know?

Really Awesome Video!!!! Thank u so much for such a detailed one... I made this bunny with very much ease.. During my childhood days, I struggled a lot to learn it but could not attain even a bit of this art. Recently when I have gone through your video I decided to give another try... It was my first crochet attempt and with your help I was able to complete it...Thanks once again.... Waiting for more exciting patterns like this...

Have you ever tried making this bigger?? If so, what would you recommend for a hook size??? Do you have any teddy bear tutorials??? I loved this video. Gonna give it a try. Small hooks and smaller yarn tends to make me nervous. I find it harder to crochet with the smaller hook and yarn.

Tracey Randell hey try chunky yarn with either a 3.5 or 4 mm hook I've increased other things before and this has almost doubled the size x

I just wanted to thank you for your videos and patterns on your site. I have made 2 bunnies as my first ever completed crochet projects. For some reason my first one was gigantic, double the size of yours, but my 2nd was the right size. I also used a 5mm hook, because it was gold and yours is too and I wasnt paying attention to size details.
I find that I enjoy crochet most when using multicolored yarns, as I get excited to get to the next color. So both my bunnies are multicolored.
I need to research how to attach eyes. I bought eyes with a shank on the back, was that wrong? I couldnt figure out how to attach them at the end without them dangling all weird, and trying to use yarn to make eyes was kind of a disaster.
I have some kind of weirdness that makes counting stitches extremely difficult, but I saw another channel used a scrap of yarn as a marker, so I started doing that.
Thanks for making such awesome videos and patterns that even beginners can follow!

Thank you again Laura for another awesome tutorial! My bunny came out soooo cute. I used Caron Simply Soft yarn and a 3.5 mm hook so it came out a tiny bit bigger but I love it. I also gave him little whiskers and made a black top hat for him so now he looks like he can be a monopoly bunny lol...but thanks again, you are awesome!!!! :-)
