Why not just eguip the truck with proper axles in the first place. No matter how heavy you make the spring packs, your axle will always be the weak link, especially with those little medium duty axles. Those trucks just are not designed to haul those loads even if you stack big spring packs on it and double/triple the frame.

Мост только под замену, такой разлом не ремонтируется.

This is the 2nd or third time this has been fixed. This steel is old I would imagine this repair will look good but it won’t last long.

Question is why was the axle over stressed in the FIRST place?

Hopefully this is just a temporary fix to ger the driver home, not sure I would trust it for very long.

THIS IS WHAT I WOULD DO, I KNOW CAUSE I DID IT BEFORE. I DIDN'T HAVE A WIRE BRUSH, SO I GRAB LIKE 5 WELDING RODS , USED THE NON FLUX TIP .TO SCRAP. WORKS LIKE A CHAMP. 👍 👌

I must say that this was not one of the better repairs I have seen on line. Just pounding the axel to be hopefully straight, is not the same as milling the pieces to make a firm match before welding. 🥺🇺🇸

      He is not hoping. To
Him the caliper keeps his work within a certain margin of error.
