    I live here in El Paso,I used to live one block away from the Sugar House.I remember the real alligators, the city buses would park all around that park for people to board, they got rid of the alligators because they would get sick because people would feed them food and trash

    The owner of the house worked at Levi Strauss sewing pockets into denim jeans. Loved seeing parts of El Paso I haven't seen.

    Great vlog of the Sugar House and that alligator fountain. Glad the gators are gone. Perfect recipe for disaster. Orlando was very gracious in showing you around town. Nice vlog to get to know El Paso better since a few childhood friends of ours from California came from El Paso Tx. Very sweet and humble friends to this day. Thanks Jordan for taking the time to take us there. ❤️🙏🏻

    Congratulations on the new merchandise!!! You deserve it, you bring so much to all of us. I will try to support you by buying something, right now things are very tight. But I will try very hard, I'll think what I can cut out for a short time 😊😊. That house was unique, to say the least. To each his own, that guy was dedicated. Great vlog as usual, and thanks for sharing. Safe travels 😊😊😊😊.

    El Paso is a different place, its half US half Mexico, Beto O'Rourke's home town. The Sugar House is amazing, this is something we've seen all over the US, we have 2 in Houston, ones called the Orange Show, the other the beer can house, what some do in retirement. YES ! get a Whataburger, let us know how it stacks up to In and Out. Have a great time, its a very interesting place to vlog, thanks for taking us with you !

    So glad you’ve come by my neck of the woods!! I have recently been watching all your videos and when I saw you had made one where I live I just couldn’t pass it up!! I pass by this house all the time and I live in that general area. I’ve always wondered about this house since I was small. As for the alligators in the plaza my mother said that they had to remove them after drunks would throw bottles at them and just abuse them. A couple of them may have died unfortunately. I do believe they were still around when my mother was a toddler. Don’t understand why they had live gators there in the first place...anyway! Thank you so much for your videos! Love them!!

    I just had to tell you Jordan how much I enjoy watching your videos they are so informative and such a joy to watch I noticed your knowledge of a lot of the older movies and I thought of a couple of old African American movie stars that slip through the cracks of Fame and never got the notoriety that they deserve and all of them passed away in the Los Angeles California area I'll put a link at the bottom and you can check it out and see if you might be interested in doing a vlog or doing some research on them I think you would do a great job .

    I live just 2 hours away from El paso in carlsbad, New Mexico. Lion you should come to the Carlsbad Caverns, you'll love it. It's a true wonder of the USA if not the Americas. Look it up , Carlsbad also has the only river that crosses itself in the USA. Lots of awsome historical destinations here in NM plus the filming locations from BREAKING BAD in Albuquerque NM. I really hope to see a vlog from my neck of the woods.

    I am usually not drawn to locations like this because they are so sloppily done, but the attention to detail, and the neatness Mr. Rafino, I think that was the name you gave us, exhibites is extraordinary. What an artist! Just the fact that he keeps it up so well, doesn't look 20 years old. Feel sorry for the Alligator's that used to be in the park. Didn't look like there was enough water to keep them happy. Glad they're gone. Thanks. Looking forward to the rest of your visit.

    unfortunately even if the neighbors like it, it kills home values for the homes nearby - just the way it is - the guy is an artistic genius though, takes a lot of time and passion to do something like that, he's a very creative person

    • @DazewithJordantheLion
      @DazewithJordantheLion  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You havent seen the neighborhood..

    • @FalconLair09
      @FalconLair09 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DazewithJordantheLion i kind of have seen it (the neighborhood), through the eyes of Google Maps, sure it's not a well to do area Jordan, maybe the homes aren't really that expensive already - the fact that the house is located at the end of the block, somewhat isolated from the other homes helps, it's also located adjacent to the freeway, a freeway that probably doesn't help property values either - i guess the real question is who would want to actually live there if the home became available on the market and at what price? We all like looking at something unusual, something creative, then we go back to our homes - maybe it's just me, but, it's not like Christmas, where you can do all the fancy decorating then take it all down after the New Year - none of this however takes away from the artistic genius I see with the homeowner, im just not sure what it does to his and surrounding property values, then again, maybe it doesn't really matter at all - glad you gave us the opportunity to see it up close and personal, great vlog

    I’ve been following you a little over a 1 1/2 yrs. and, I just recently discovered your vlogs when you were in EP. I really appreciate all the kind words and comments you had to say about my city! BTW, my brother’s friend (since elementary) grew up in the sugar house. I had to send him the link to this video. There are so many more things I think you could vlog about if you return to EP. Sharon Tate lived in EP and attended Irvin HS (she lived on Roanoke St) which is not too far from the “sugar house”. Debbie Reynolds was born in EP. Maybe you already knew this. I really hope you return to EP! If you do, you need to hit up Cattlemen’s Steakhouse! Take care Jordan!😊
