Great video as usual. The screen shots and visual presentation you use are incredibly valuable to us visual learners. Great tip on the fg knot. I fish Mille Lacs and definitely need that longer floro lead. Takes a few tries to get the knot just right but once you get it, it’s hard to beat!
Nice they stayed put for you. I find sand walleyes are constantly roaming. It feels like you're chasing more than fishing. Great content for people learning. Keep up the good work.
I like the idea of finding them on SS and then waypoint. I am still trying to figure out what I see on SS are actually fish. This would confirm it. Going to try this out, not too many days left here in central Canada.
I noticed you’re now mounting your livescope transducer to the trolling motor shaft and not on a pole. Do you like it better than the pole so you can scan hands free? Is not being able to spot lock and scan a pain or not a big deal?
It is super convenient for chasing down big single fish, especially when they are suspended overall been loving it. There are definitely times when chasing schools or it being windy that I miss being able to spot lock and use the pole separately
Appreciate the comment! Depends on the structure in fishing and how deep. I like to go around 5mph, but the biggest thing is to adjust your graph speed accordingly if you’re making big changes!
It happened ….. it finally happened tj we smacked em last night man , absolutely freezing cold we started at 430 in the evening very last spot of the night we pull up on a reef top 4 ft 5 ft of water walleyes everywhere never seen anything like it we FINALLY found some good 🐋 👀 s the map breakdown on every upload mapping starting to see is jus the most important keep killin it bud giants still to come this fall !!!
TJ this may be a silly question but how do you move your live scope so easy? It looks like you’re moving it with your foot. It seems if you have it on your trolling motor it would be scanning all over the place as you’re on spot lock? Thanks in advance. I’ve got my live scope mounted on the side of my boat.
There is typically a much larger concentration of bait on these sandy flats in spring and fall. Water temps also play a big role in this as well. During the summer when there’s not shade from weeds they will slide out deeper and chase bait that has moved out as well.
The FG knot is undefeated. A little bit of learning curve to learn how to tie it, but its well worth it
Loving it as well! 👊
Always great content! Thanks TJ!

Really appreciate the kind words and support, as always! Absolutely! Can make a big difference when casting with longer leaders
Another great informative video, TJ! Thanks!
Glad you found it helpful, Brandon! 👊

I agree, sand fish can move like crazy sometimes! But when the conditions are right and they settle down it’s a lot of fun.
My plan is get TJ to just show me :P Another banger!
Its not often you find walleye being predictable like that. Made for a cool day out there!!
Some fall bites are super predictable! But not always 😂 but when they are, it’s awesome!
That's Right 👍 Nothing out Fishes Live Bait 💯
Some days there’s nothing better that’s for sure! 👊
Great video buddy🙌🏻
Appreciate that! 👊
What kind of lens are you using ?
This is the tamron 20-40 on the Sony zv E1

Your vids teach us anglers so much, thank you. I’m sure I missed it but what’s your sweet spot mph when side imagining for walleyes?

Justin!! You bet!! You deserved it brother!! 👊

I appreciate the fact you don't forget about us.Fishermen that are still using a $2000 boat and a $300 Fish locator.
I do my best to make it applicable to many people!
can you mount your livescope transducer on a terrova trolling motor?
I have seen some different mounts that allow you to do that, but I have not seen it or tried it in person!
I get stuck on fish that won’t bite constantly! Thanks for the reminder to keep moving!
It is very hard to leave fish to find fish, but so important to find active fish!
@@tjsguideservice so true!
Good info
Appreciate the comment! 👊
Nice
Thanks, Scott! 👊
So why are they on the sandy flats in the fall? I assume bait fish, but bait fish are in the shallow sandy areas all year, so why now?
