This is so much fun. Subscribed. Great explanation and superb video production. Keep up the good work man!

So I decided to finally make one of your projects and picked this one. I am pretty new to Arduino, but in the end I succeeded! It's not mounted in a box yet, but it works! Had a few small hiccups, but I am really excited to mount everything inside a box and make it look cleaned up. Thanks for the inspiration. Love the videos!

Can use multiple lat/long and make it so they have to get to x way points in y time. If you fail it resets and have to go through all the way points again.

    Brilliant video! Thanks for sharing!
I would love to see more mobile projects to learn more about compact builds and batteries. Which would also be usefull for an indoor escape room. For example a mobile communication kit, a mobile hacker system which can be use in the room when plugged in via usb etc.

Thank you so much for doing this tutorial. I've been wanting to make one of these boxes for a while but my background is not anything computer related. I'm not totally done with the project yet but I do have it working so thank you so much!

Another great informative video! Non blocking code and reliability is good to hear and learn from you. Just watched your GSM video which I also learned a lot.
    New project idea? 💡
Combine the GPS and GSM to make a tracker for your dog in case it goes missing in the woods like it did in the GSM video! Shrink it all down to small form factor (pro mini, Quectel L80 Gps, Sim800L), use sleep modes to save power/smaller battery. Would make for a really interesting video.
Thanks again, enjoying your excellent videos and learning a lot!

I was thinking about a GPS coord tracker that I was tatting about with in AWK, to give me bearing and distance. So no library assistance. I must have come away scarred as I was a bit concerned about converting everything to decimal degrees to work the trig.
I guess that the gps library takes care of that internally, for distance to go.
I'm not an escape room person, but very much appreciate the tech involved.
    Thank you and stay safe.

Really good - I was going to suggest using WiFi SSIDs for urban locations with a ESP8266, but if GPS units are this cheap now that changes the game - very interesting thanks

Hi there! Your videos are super helpful! Thank you for taking the time to make them and post them! I'm wondering if there is a way to contact you directly about helping me design a couple small projects? I am fairly new to arduino and would be happy to pay for your expertise! Thank you!

Thnx for this tutorial, i searched a lot for the GPS module but a lot of the modules state that there is a level converter necessary. Is that in your gps module not necessary?

What would be the smallest battery size you would recommend for this project, 5000mah?

    Hello,
I would like to do a bit the same thing, that is to say, insert in the code a lot of values (Latitude, longitude) and then to use, which is compared to the current position. At each passage on a position, the device would perform an action (buzzer for example). Let's imagine a game, a walk in an area where each registered position represents a Zombie, if it sounds we have lost... Who has already done this? from your code is it possible?

Yes, sure - you just need to use an array of lat/long coordinates rather than a single "target" value - it would be a pretty trivial change.

      @@PlayfulTechnology Hello,
I made this assembly but two things mislead.
1- the visual wiring of the LCD is reversed ... SLC > A5 Blue and SDA > A4 Yellow ... the pins on the LCD are reversed (it may depend on the models but I visually have the same as you)
1- The current GPS module (blue color) does not have the same 3.3v voltage, maybe it would be wise to report it, because at 5v I fried mine.
      ..
In Arduino IDE, the code underlines an error with AltSoftSerial .
      The three libraries are present.
Once powered up (Just NANO + LCD) nothing works, the LCD lights up but no text (despite the well-adjusted brightness).
      Have a good day
