There is news in the market that UK, Italy and Japan are working together for 6 th generation fighter jet. India was invited in to the group but we declined.
We already wasted a decade with Russia for 5th gen fighters so we aren't going to collaborate with anyone anymore. If a fighter will be good, we can buy it directly with technology transfer with bulk order

Dude such is the influence of the fork tongued fkwits in DRDO and HAL they keep selling the governments lemons . They lie lie and lie, few years back when the navy was about to sign for AIP for kalvari class with a forigen vendor DRDO did a media leak saying they have cracked the AIP tech and have one ready. Years later now the navy is begging DRDO to develop one in war footing atmanirbhar is great but when it comes to aircraft engines and fighter planes it's decades of tech development with hindereds of millions involved. We should have joined the tempest programme we would have benefited massively..but then how will the fat cats at HAL eat , just today the Chinese new prototype of the improved j20 was spotted ... And in no time they will be the mainstay of PLAF, . We only have 36 4.5 gen fighter.planes and the next line is sukhoi 30 of which only 50% is available at any given time..... Like it or not Tejas mark 1 is a dud which was shoved down the IAFs throat and you don't want your son's and daughters flying them or the mig 21 or a museum jaguar any where close to the border....the average sub ie scorpene is toothless without torpedoes from Leonardo has anyone thought about that. .and the sub production line at mazgaon will have AT LEAST a three year gap even if we sign up for the next subdeal tomorrow, but don't worry we have the DRDO And HAL giving us colorful stories everyday

Actually Bharat apni kaveri ke jo alag alag varrient hai us par kam kar rahe hai independently, Safran ne kuch hat Tak to kaveri ko refine kiya but yeh low thrust hai, but atpresnt Bharat Safran ke sath engine technology ko already advanced kam kar rahe hai, & rollos Royce ke sath ek aur powerful engine ke liye bhi kam kar raha hai, actually Bharat dono firms ko hi active rakhna chahta hai, dono ki technology Bharat lega & future me aur advance engine indigenously banayega.

Japan would not share its engine technology with India because we are using Russian made technology and for security reasons Japan will not want to compromise it's technology to Russia

What exactly happens in Transfer of Technology? Apart from High price charge for ToT why would any country be ready to transfer it's so long R&D knowledge to somone else? What exactly it benefits giving country? Because of this ToT receiving country will do all its own and it is also big lost for business for ToT giving country? Why? This tot clause is used to delay acquisition .. later they can receive some kickback by dropping the idea of tot. No country will transfer to. This is plain stupidity.
This is the best question asked on here. The answer is that no country will ever pass on it's most secret information to another, until that other country has proved itself to be totally friendly and reliable.
Advanced technological countries don't get to stay that way, if they let other countries buy into their projects to steal their knowledge. Countries that want to advance need to either open the tap of money to pay for knowledge given in part, or use that same money tap to grow the knowledge for themselves (which takes far longer).

Kaveri already generates 75kN thrust. Anyway it can be integrated to Tejas and tested. It is upto politicians to decide if they will allow it or not. Otherwise if funds are sanctioned, things will run smoothly from now on. India can also scale up the thrust gradually upto 115 kN and then upto 140 kN. It is all upto the decision of the board of directors, this is not a Bollywood movie 😊

अगर हम जपनी XF-9 इंजन को हमारी जरूरत के हिसाब से 180 Kn से कम थ्रस्ट पर भी फाइन ट्यून करके डेवलप कर सकता है। जो कि कावेरी इंजन के इंतजार से बेस्ट है। और हम खुद के बॉम्बर मे भी इस्तेमाल करके बना सकते हैं।
