Gary Jenkins is the primary lead singer of the group and is arguably the best singer in any male R&B vocal group over the last 30 years. Which is saying a lot since there are so many incredible singers in R&B groups, esp. in the 90s

I will be honest with you. Silk was out at the exact sane time as Boys II men and Jodeci. I may have liked Silk slightly better. They were a halfway point between the good boy image of B2M and the bad boys of Jodeci

Yeah I would say from the 90s...Lil G, Stokely ( lead from Mint Condition) & the lead from After 7. The lungs on these guys r awesome 👌

Gary Jenkins aka Lil G is the lead singers name. He is definitely in my top 5 male vocalist of all time.
Silk was overshadowed by some bigger groups but vocally they were not to be played with
Gary is a beast, plus he plays 13 instruments.
