There are several types of copper and they are classified by strength and rigidity. The most common are type K, type L and type M. Any of these are fine for your purpose. Check out the web on different types of copper to see which one you would prefer to work with. Hope this helps George

Barley and Hops Brewing ok thanks just figuring out all my electrical stuff so I don’t trip the breaker when I get going, I’m going to run a 120v 2000w element which is 16.6a on a 20 amp circuit plus the pump and the pid controller so I should be good getting up there though lol! Both work well but I prefer the internal element.
Do they work with induction hotplates?
I'm told you can clean a keg out easily by putting a length of chain in through the hole and rotate with caustic cleaner.

I got question for ya. If i put fruit between copper packing will i pick up more flavor on reflux still
Not so much. A reflux will strip that flavor out if it is efficient.

Haven't done one of those. I really like the electric and prefer its safety over propane.

A new still can be cleaned with soap and water. Some people will run water through it the first run just to make sure.
do you sell the diffuser plate by its self? and if so how much?

Hey George do you know how many amps that water pump draws?
I could work out the math to be exact but I would bet it is around 1/2 - 1 amp. It is very low since there is no real load on it.
