Also, as you mentioned in the cargo area, you said it doesn’t have bag hooks. It does, but they are located on the side storage areas, on the back part.
Honda makes one of the best compact SUV's. I used to own the 2005 CRV EX and was very happy with it, aside from the AC issue. The things I miss on the new models are the full size spare tire mounted on the back door and the folding table that serves as the trunk floor. I wish Honda would consider putting these features back in their next updated model.

The CR-V has always been the gold standard of this class and still is even in it's last year of the current generation. I always recommend the CR-V as the best all around choice.
I always remember my aunt had a 2015 from new and it fell apart in 5 years all sorts of electrical issues from speakers to sensors ..was well taken care off, just cheaply made. I see no gold standard just another dull cheap crossover.

I got my 2022 CR-V EX in November 2022. In three months I'm satisfied with the overall performance and handling. I traded in a 2012 Toyota Tacoma. A big change but I'm happy. The CR-V does seem a little noisy inside to me but I can live with it. Thank you for your review. BTW, I didn't have much to choose from as new cars were pretty scarce throughout the year. I did look at SUVs from Toyota (they had none but did have a lengthy waiting list), Hyundai, Subaru (who also didn't have much on the lot).
In Canada the best value is the LX AWD. They give you the 17” alloys, 1.5 Turbo, heated seat, rear view cam, Apple car play and Honda Sensing. I didn’t even bother getting another package
I just came home with my 2022 CR-V in the same color. I. LOVE. IT! Everything you said about it is accurate. The tailgate is quite heavy & I wish it would open with the remote. Performance-wise I am very very pleased & happy I upgraded from my 2021 Civic.

He said Nitrogen in the tires! Plus wheel locks, $399. 1/2" clear tape on edge Of doors $399. Cargo tray $499.
Live near that dealership. Never understood Nitro in the tires. Do you know how much for AWD? Maybe I'll take a test drive. Are you going to buy the CRV? I wonder if RAV4 is better.

8:35 I have a 2021 and already had to do a factory reset on the touch screen. When using the Android app for navigation map it would drop out. Other times the screen got "stupid" on me, not knowing what screen should be shown. From Honda forums I have read this has been an issue for years and Honda does not have a fix for it other than a factory reset. Poor in my book.
I just traded my 2007 Pilot for a 2022 CR-V EX yesterday, so I haven't had an extensive amount of time to check it over. So far, I'm liking it. My only initial complaints would be that there is no garage door button on this model and the infotainment system seems a bit clunky. I'm looking forward to years of use though. I have noticed a difference between my 2016 Honda CR-V ex and 2022 version. Correct me if I am wrong. I see that 2022 Honda CR-V does not have right mirror camera, meaning that when I turn right, I would not get to see the visuals in my information system.

Thank you for watching! Well, I like both, but for a family I would have to go with the CR-V. The extra cargo space can be really helpful, especially with bigger bulky items..like we pack a big stroller quite a bit for my young daughter. The Accord is still really spacious, especially the back seat, but the AWD and extra cargo space wins it for me. If I was going to go with another brand, it would be the RAV4 basically for the same reasons
How is the audio? The CRV that we bought in 2015 had a 1-2 second lip sync delay that you can definitely find annoying playing back video while connected to the bluetooth. Also the max volume was pretty disappointing. I'd attribute that issue to the stock speakers.

Actually I believe the Canadian models of the CR-V have a panoramic moon roof as well as heated rear seats. They really give the US model the old screw job when it comes to features.
This would be my choice for an SUV when the time is right but now with the shortage I’ve seen all CRVs get marked up 2k-2.5k over MSRP in my area which is making me think less of the brand to let dealers allow that.
Dang that’s a shame! I’m sick of the shortage and high prices too. I’m not sure how these are priced right now because basically everything they get in the lot is pre-sold or selling soon. I’ve been trying to get multiple vehicles and they sell before they even get to the lot…
I sell Honda’s here in Delaware and we’re not charging anything over MSRP at the moment at my specific dealership. A lot of my clients are driving from other states to purchase from me because the drive is worth it when they’re saving thousands. It’s nuts what other dealerships are getting away with out there.

I have a 2021 CR-V Sport. It’s been pretty good but a few things I dislike. The auto start stop feature is terrible not smooth start up at all, have to press a button every time to disengage it. Infotainment is slow and dated, screen should be 12inch. I never use lane keep assist as it pinp pongs between white lines, my wife’s 2021 Elantra does a much better job. Should have 360 camera.
Time stamps are the best thing since sliced bread!! We may be moving from a full sized pickup into a similar suv or anything between. Our '05 accord is our 2nd vehicle and it's like new at 150K so other than the turbo I am a honda fan!
I hope Honda has finally fixed the problem with the head unit continuously flickering and beeping on its own. I believe this will be the reason I will not be buying another CRV. Other than that, the vehicle has been great.
I have the 2017 CR-V EX-L with 20k miles. It is my first and last honda. Currently, all warning lights on the dash are lit, and we will bringing it back to the dealership for the 3rd time in as many months for the same issue. Look up this issue online or on youtube and you'll find many people with the same issue, and the dealership doesn't know how to fix and won't issue a recall despite it being widespread and dangerous. When the warning lights are on, none of the safety features work and it is a hazard to drive--not even the parking brake works. I would avoid this vehicle at all costs, and will be returning to Toyota, myself.
I’ve always felt the car is underpowered especially when climbing up hills. As a result the transmission does a lot of downshifting whose gear changing always seems to not keep pace with speed demands. As a result paddle shifting for manual gear changing would be a great addition and greatly appreciated.
What I still concern is the turbo engine which has the oil dilutions with gas, it was a common problem in 2017/2018 model years. Don’t know if Honda has solved it or not permanently, just don’t want to make a bet to it.
SiriusXM is standard on the EX, EX-L, and Touring, but not available in LX and Special Edition. I don’t think I mentioned it in the video. Sorry about that!
Before giving your money to honda, check the sticker - where its trans is made. Remember: when your warranty expires (even a couple hundred miles), honda will send you marching, and you are on your own - that's what happened to me. NEVER AGAIN!
@7:24 - CAREFUL! Interior plastic scratches easily, almost likes it's made of butter! And does Honda sell INTERIOR touch-up paint? Of course, NOT! Outer plastic, like black bumper cover is easily scratched, too. Could Honda make it all more durable? Sure, but why bother!
Audio can be upgraded for much less than it costs to buy the Touring trim’s lackluster “premium” audio. Hondas never have very good audio, even top tier. The civic finally added Bose audio for once

If you replace the OEM tires with a premium choice they are pretty quiet

Just got my CRV 2022 and disappointed the trunk is not touch free, (so necessary) I don't think I will keep this one very long.
Drove one yesterday and engine felt sluggish for turbo...

What I still concern is the turbo engine which has the oil dilutions with gas, it was a common problem in 2017/2018 model years. Don’t know if Honda has solved it or not permanently, just don’t want to make a bet to it.
That's why you get a bumper to bumper warranty.

Hate it when dealers put stripes on. This is not a sports car. For some reason Honda dealers like to do this.

SiriusXM is standard on the EX, EX-L, and Touring, but not available in LX and Special Edition.

Before giving your money to honda, check the sticker - where its trans is made.
Remember: when your warranty expires (even a couple hundred miles), honda will send you marching, and you are on your own - that's what happened to me. NEVER AGAIN!
@7:24 - CAREFUL! Interior plastic scratches easily, almost likes it's made of butter! And does Honda sell INTERIOR touch-up paint? Of course, NOT!
Outer plastic, like black bumper cover is easily scratched, too. Could Honda make it all more durable? Sure, but why bother!

Audio can be upgraded for much less than it costs to buy the Touring trim’s lackluster “premium” audio. Hondas never have very good audio, even top tier.
