These guys didn't just research in the books, they actually were in contact with Marc Miller the entire time, which I think is why so many of those little un-published details are in there.

The details are insane on this build.

I have no knowledge whatsoever about 3D printings and not into collecting minis.
But i am recently obsessed with Stars Without Number, Mothership and Coriolis RPG and currently learning about them.
Watching this video and your explanation of the interior parts of the Type-S, i can't help but thinking "Where should the monstrous alien creature encounter the crews and how it's moving around the starship? Is there any air conducts or something?" Hahaha.
Great and thorough explanation as always Dave. *thumbs up*

Thanks! Yeah ship this is definitely a perfect backdrop for a game of Mothership or some other claustrophobic sci-fi nightmare scenario!

"You wouldn't want to live on this ship long term" @Dave Thaumavore. A scout working for the IISS "Exploration Branch" will spend their entire career well over 10 years or more in most cases living on and out of a Type-S or similar scout starship, While they solitarily explore the farthest reaches of known space cataloguing and charting new star systems along with the strange things they find within such star systems. If a IISS exploration branch scout is lucky enough to make it out of the exploration branch service alive into retirement they will receive a large military pension and get to keep their type-S starship, though the starship can be recalled back into service at any time by the IISS if it is needed. In classic Traveller enlisting in the IISS was always a good career option the career has many advantages but it dose have a high casualty rate.

I didn't get deck designer when I bought my scout ship beta. Is this a special program that only backers get?

That’s my understanding. If you join their Discord, you can ask them directly and they might hook you up. No promises though.
