Thanks for noticing! They are actually stainless screws I ordered in and cut down to fill the holes. Non ferrous and no effect on the tone. Just like they aren't there :)

@@SteveWoodyMusic Aha! I’ll have to think about that for aesthetics.
I’m surprised it’s not a more popular mod. Removing the pole pieces made the muddy neck humbucker in my SG actually usable. I think facing the pole side toward the neck added a bit more clarity too since that made the higher output side closer to the bridge.
I left the pole pieces in the bridge though because I noticed a loss in sustain.

​​@@LfunkeyASorry, I just realized I missed this comment! Thanks for the kind words! Here is a link to the Amazon listing where I bought the screws, though it looks as though they have been unavailable for a while.
Also, be aware that if you cut the screws to shorten them, the tips may become magnetic. This happened to me, and I had to file the very tips down to remove the magnetic section.
