My Father wouldn’t buy these when they came out in 92 because they were 40 for a regular box at Sams Club. A few years ago he asked me if I remember telling him that they would be worth a ton and we needed to buy them now. Yes, yes I do...😄
Thanks for sharing... I remember going to sams club everyday to find these cards. One day a case of jumbo's showed up on the floor and there were several people already there bickering about who was going to get what. There was a sams club employee guarding the case, poor guy. Then a manager came out from the back and told everyone that the case was not for sale. He said somebody had already purchased the case from another Sams club store and they sent it to this store for him to pick up. Lol, well, that did not go over well with the dudes that were there and circling the case like a bunch of wolves... The manager pushed the cart away with the one case sitting on it and I surely thought there was going to be a brawl. The dudes were screaming nasty words to the manager but he just kept rolling along. Probably a good thing these whole sale stores quit offering cards. Surely, somebody would have gotten beat up. Lol. Just a funny story about the evil shanigan's that went on back in the day....
I didn’t end up bidding on it, but I was watching a box of this last week till the verrry end. Almost pulled the trigger! Great vid, was able to check in live for a bit...what a fun #Cardmunity !! Maybe we’ll see another box in the future, still looking for the Rivera😜

Yep, they were different than anything else in the early 90's. I always thought the prices were a bit much though.

The traditional stock used previously is now replaced in 92,' they all pretty much changed the stock. Never bought any of these

Does anyone know what the 90 topps Ken Griffey Jr card as well as the Frank Thomas rookie are worth?
A buck or two at the most. Very over produced....Unless the Thomas is the NNOF. (No name on front).
$3.00 the Thomas ken .75 in the price guide.lot of people don’t go by price guide some do.
Chris Austin you can usually find the Griffey in dime or quarter boxes and Thomas rookie in dollar boxes at most card shows.
