Buckethead's music takes me to a unique place. Few artists are capable of cultivating their own world with their music which I can connect to, and Buckethead is certainly one of them. It is always a pleasure to take part in the ever-expanding Bucketheadland, and all of the twists and turns it brings
I revisit this pike so much. The first track “Domain Of The Air” is PURE EXCELLENCE - definitely one of my favorites from Buckethead - and the title track is a great, long journey that just rocks every step of the way, I can listen to it in any mood 🔥🔥🔥 Pike 292 is so good, gosh!!
I remember years ago I was listening to his pikes all day at work and my coworker found it so fascinating that I could listen to instrumentals with no words. I honestly find it more calming than hearing a singer.
Brian is so full of music he has to make these albums so he doesn't explode. So much emotion and life in everything he makes. He is a true Musical Maestro of this age. Stop and think about how much music he has made in his life and recognize the amount over all musicians in our history. This man has given us his life story in music. Everything about him is in his music. He has given us his entire life in his albums. Thank you Brian.
Let's be honest. Whoever is playing the drums is just as great as bucket. Very technical, specific and solid rythmatc patterns being played on time. And thats an understatement. In fact, the communication between all voices are timed so perfectly that it all just melts into one giant river or ocean. Constantly moving. Just perfect. Especially that riff at 12:00...absoloutley breaks the sound barrier cone on that 1 downbeat... THIS IS REAL MUSIC PEOPLE!!!!! LISTEN AND FEELL THE POWER!!!

GOod point. People say "play mozart while studying". I tried, Mozart is great, but, listening to it for 10 times in a row, definitely makes his classics sound "worst" by each time you loop. Buckethead on the other hand... (that's my opinion, Mozart and Buckethead are great).
My god, Buckethead does it every time. Such magnificent, emotional and complexly beautiful music from one of the world's greatest masters. I listen to Buckethead in some fashion every day, and this Pike will certainly make its way to my list of favorites already.
4:36 This has gotta be Bucket's announcement that he's producing the soundtrack for the Tron: Legacy sequel. So techo, groovy, spacey, rockin, and just plain hypnotizing.
I like these sort of pikes from time to time, and I'd say this one is better than alot of them, but they can get old. I mean not every song can have a solo but it could really use some more personally in the drums or some lead runs over a rhythm guitar here and there. Those things are sorely missed with these pikes.
I grew up on Van Halen and the like. When I became a Christian it was hard for me to listen to that stuff. Now with Buckethead! No lyrics! All just good jam. Praise God for Buckethead .
Talented musicians are fairly common among artistics. But the creators that follow nothing but their inner voice , if they're real lucky, just might lead to painless death. Or an outlier (a statistical anomaly). This outlier, is named Buckethead
The scariest part of buckethead is bluegrass and classical might be his most disciplined genre; upon which he doesn't practice, unless he uses a time portal, nor releases much material on. He might factually be a better banjo player than an electric guitarist
This is the music x-wing fighters would probably be blasting durring battle if buckethead showed up at that cantina, played a set and got those other bums who play there kicked out and then he got famous in that galaxy and everyone bought his pikes.
I swear I can actually hear talking in a couple of his tracks. I mean I listen to him so much I wouldn't be surprised. There's one track I swear someone goes "turn it down"
Not as melodic as Electrum where Bucket riffs nicely on a classic theme from Vanilla Fudge, but more so than Fogray which seems all chugga chugga rhythm and no melody at all. But my first listen is pretty good so I'll listen again.
He’s been working with a similar theme these last few pikes, and it needs to change because it is getting monotonous and repetitive. I expect a bit more sonic creativity and melodic structures as well as face melting climatic guitar solos from the master himself. Perhaps he’s content producing on his current astral plane for now.

100% agree. I buy all my albums from Brian's Pike site.
Keep doing what you do best buckethead. One day glory will be yours.
Listening to Buckethead at work makes the night awesome

I've run out of things to say about this man. Every piece of music he releases is like being given a gift.
I've just started saying when asked "What is your favorite Buckethead album?"
"His next Pike release" :)
@ it's like a musical Xmas day, every day isn't it ?.
It's all been said, but worth repeating, from respect alone

NO musician gives back more to his fans than buckethead.
Prodigy pure and simple.
When I’m working on intense projects, the Pikes are always on in the background.
I know, right.
Life is a complicated project
That's why buckethead gives us so much material
When I'm writing Sci Fi... Buckethead in the background inspires me to write awesome stuff... lol

Bucket programs the drums himself
As I'm staring into the night sky listening to this pike, I looked at the phone to see the name of the song and ironically it's "Galaxies ". Wicked.
Buckethead never loses any of his songwriting capabilities. The being has a neverending vat of musician imagination.
Happy birthday, Brian Carroll ( Buckethead) 55 today.

Spending hours doing Math work and listening to Pikes in this style go hand in hand.

why he doesnt change the drum mix? i miss the young buckethead type of drum. also a great pike
He doesn't play the drums. Only the guitar, mask and bucket.
The scariest part of buckethead is bluegrass and classical might be his most disciplined genre; upon which he doesn't practice, unless he uses a time portal, nor releases much material on.

There is not one moment on any of Buckets' albums that is " not cool" . Every song, riff and note is earcandy. Stay green my friends.
ohohohohohohoh don't need to say anything

I hear what you're saying but I think the great classical composers did roughly the same thing.
I feel like a lot of people tend to forget that Buckethead is a character that Brian created and every work is part of the "act."
Ain't gotta break kayfabe like that, brother!
Would be difficult for him to be more overrated ...yet I can enjoy him like twice a year. Genius marketing though from the get-go. ( °
Lol... You have me confused with someone else. Vastly more erroneously than Buckethead being confused with a Guitar Center noodler. ( °
I have no doubt all of your doubts are high ones.
