  • The Women's 4x400m relay is always one of the most anticipated events at any Championship, and the 2022 Munich edition was no different.
The Netherlands won gold - having won gold at the European Indoor Championships in Torun - with Femke Bol anchoring them to take victory in 3:20.87.
It was the third fastest time in the history of the European Athletics Championships, and fastest since 1986.
Bol and the Dutch quartet outpaced Poland (3:21.68) and Great Britain & Northern Ireland 3:21.74) who claimed silver and bronze respectively.

I don't think it was possible for polish team to win this, three first legs would have to work out big advantage to prevent Femke Bol to win this race. If the Dutch weren't in front of Poland Kaczmarek could hold Bol or at least it would be very close.
