Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a 3D platformer Kirby game developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. The player controls Kirby in an adventure through the titular forgotten land, called the New World, to rescue Waddle Dees kidnapped by the ferocious Beast Pack. To complete each stage to save the Waddle Dees, Kirby can use a wide range of copy abilities to help battle enemies and progress. The game was developed for the 30th anniversary of the Kirby series.

Get a mouthful of real-world objects for all-new, powerful transformations
Feeling hungry? Kirby can inhale real-world objects and transform using Mouthful Mode! Why get one drink from a vending machine when you can swallow the whole thing? Then, use your boxy body to shoot out cans at baddies. Consume a car to gain some wheels and slam through walls. Sit back and take it all in...literally.

I mean 90 to 95% of Kirby's current friends have tried to maim him at one point so I don't see why Awoofy wouldn't be allowed in Kirby's bed.

Kirby does it again. Also this is the second game after Planet Robobot where the main theme of the game is actually the villain’s theme and not the hero theme for Kirby.
Cool thing about the elevator cutscene is that this is the first time since Kirby’s (Extra) Epic Yarn that the game has full voice acting that is localized in different languages. So you can hear the PA announcement (including “And here we are!”) in Japanese, Spanish, German, French, etc.
There’s theories about who the original inhabitants of the Forgotten Land are in Dream Land. Some people believe them to be the founders of Haltmann Works given their advanced technology. Others believe them to be the Ancients who created the Clockwork Giants like Galactic Nova and the Master Crown and the Lor Starcutter, the same Ancients that opposed Void Termina with their technology (though that could also have been Haltmann Works).

I didn't really consider it until now, but a lot of Kirby final bosses do sound like they'd be the final bosses of a JRPG.

Yes, there are Kirby novels, which are written by Mie Takase and are only available in Japan and most recently France.
The novels takes place in a separate canon like the anime, but it's more close to games since some volumes are based on them with some changes.
There is a Tumblr masterpost that lists all of the fan translated Kirby novels. The translation may be a little flawed, but still readable, and I think improves in later volumes since I’ve only read the first two volumes. I highly recommend you read them, they're pretty good.
I'm gonna be real, alot of the bosses felt like throwing Brettdana Dee at the problem and hoping he solves it, but that display during the Fecto Elfilis battle was amazing. Really felt like you two were working in tandem the whole way through. Amazing playthrough overall, can't wait to see the postgame.

Fecto Forgo gives me Spider-Man 2000 Monster Ock flashbacks when he chases Spidey through narrow corridors.
In any case, this was really fun and I hope to see more - you'll need all the help you can get to beat the ultimate colosseum!

I love the fact the same voice actor for the Beast from Beauty and the Beast voices Effilin lol
This game is basically what happens when you let Kirby play with Kingdom Hearts stuff, i mean, just look at Fecto Elfilis and those heartless monsters (the ones with the dark-ish mist thingy over their heads)
Also, ANIMEEEEEEEE!!!!! Kirby literally isekai'd the heck out of a final boss, in his role of the infamous Truck-kun
