I really enjoyed watching you go back and forth to keep yourself out of the negative. I found it truly helpful to watch your process this way. Love your videos!
Maybe it would be helpful to majorly bulk up your buffer envelopes. That way your categories won't get emptied out so easily and you can stop the cycle. I just know if my spending was empty I would feel deflated. Business will come back. I was in sales my whole life. Summer is for travel then school and every election year people don't think about purchasing until after that's all over. So get ready you will be busy soon. Love your videos 😅
@@joannwagner4940 it’s honestly not that deflating for me! It motivates me to get out from under it lol. Thank you for the encouragement! I hope Black Friday hits hard 🤣
I really like the way you do this. I've been trying to move towards using my card for more expenses so I can get the rewards (I already pay it off each week) but I've been having some anxiety about it and I think if I tried this that would help. I like tracking things on a very granular level like this! Is that a moterm binder you use for your tracking sheets? Regular paper size or half sheet?
I’m confused on why there is a $1 challenge? If you are $900 in the negative could you use the $1 challenge to pay that off so you aren’t paying interest and able to build that fund back up since you’ve said you are planning on spending more in that category?
It's unlikely that there's interest being accrued. If I were negative in a category it would be from using savings to pay the credit card. Then I'd just be paying myself back.
She may do that off camera but she usually waits until the end of the year to count up her yield. It keeps the mystery in it. I don't think I could wait that long though. I would probably deposit every $50 or at the end of every quarter into my savings account to draw some interest.

Your unstuffings are the best. I’m sure you don’t feel that way once you’ve completed them, but as a viewer, I likey.

@@sarahkretsinger5298 yes exactly. I am pulling that money from my checking account buffer so there is no interest! I’m not in debt
Is there any confusion when you don’t note the money sent to the $1 challenge? Or do you do that after the unstuffing?
