Just spent some time reading through the case file that are available. I agree with @unknownsample4801 . Based on the 3rd party agreement that both parties signed while Rhodes was at AEW the conditions were met(25/3/2021)and the trademark objection was withdrawn. The trademark was then granted(22/6/2021) to Cody Runnels. Cody can do anything he wants with the trademark as the owner. There is the matter of what was agreed to that compelled Eisold to drop his objection. Eisold had a good case for the trademark as his band formed in 1998 and was still touring when Cody started using "American Nightmare" in 2016 in New Japan. However, Eisold withdrew his complaint and allowed Cody's trademark claim to go through. Therefore Eisold has no trademark case. He does have a breach of contract case. My guess is TKO will settle this as quietly as they can for a couple of hundred thousand.

The Swerve Hangman page is the hottest and most interesting feud in wrestling to me. These men are creating an All Time Great, Legendary feud that will be remembered for generations. They have risen each other to new heights and I sympathize with them both and feel torn on who to root for in this feud. Even after Hangman just did something unthinkably merciless. Yes, swerve may have broke into his home and threatened his family/child, but literally burning down a mans childhood home is an act of pure evil and depravity. Hangman is becoming one of the most convincing characters to captivate me in a long time. Respect to everyone involved in this storyline.. you all are creating a Masterpiece!
Question if you didn’t plan on making any money off of something, why would you try to trademark if you do that means that the plan is to make money off of it this literally makes no sense but everybody’s gonna say WWE bad did anybody realize that WWE has somebody saying something close to yes right now in their company Business is business if it didn’t go right for you, don’t pretend you had no intent on doing business
Because making money off a trademark isn't the only prerequisite for applying for one. The other side of the coin is _preventing_ someone from making money off the trademark. But even so, He could have easily wanted the trademark for HIS band, and that's it. Is pride not enough of a reason?
