1:39/1:40 looks like the Ex-Carrodus which used to be in the hands of Julian Rachlin! Even if that isn't the same violin... I truly believe that Rachlin's sound is fro every piece he performed live and/or recorded on his Del Gesu! THAT is THE Rachlin sound for me. He sounds a little buzzy and like he's struggling on the newly acquired Strad.
To me these violins look like they are smoked a few months. Well, if sausages can be smoked, why would violins be any different? Maybe that's why they have somewhwat dark tone as they say. 😂

Masterpieces 😍🎻
My instructor said he’d pick a Guarneri fiddle over a Stradivarius because of their incredible volume.
Don't tell that to David Oistrakh.
@@mbwilson2625yes! And Ivry Gitlis too!
Chronological order? Very interesting clip if volume is turned down.
Love it!!
One of them (without finetuners) have a set of geared Pegheds from Chuck Herin!
Amazing lineup. Interesting to see how uneven his f-holes are on most of his fiddles, however.
beautiful❤

Yes, it is „Ex Carrodus“ DelGesù! It was played by Julian for many years.
@@AntonSorokow Ahh, I'm glad my eyes didn't deceive me! It's a beautiful violin especially when heard (in his hands)!
Where?
the Heifetz del Gesu ( 1742 ) among them ? And the " cannone " ? I did not see it.
No, those two are not present. Both are owned by museums (or in the Cannone's case, the city of Genoa) not private collectors/investors.
Wonder how much the sell for.
I want one
Made me look. Must be well made copies. Otherwise, someone assembled in one place about 18 percent of all del Gesu's on the planet.
BÁRBARA ELECCION ❤
I hear German so somewhere in Deutschland?
29-44
Well they look pretty. Something must be wrong with the sound. All I can hear is a lot of talking.
I can hear the cremona youtube guy in the background lol
All arly 800 german reproduction
...
In the style of guarneri family..
Lol, no. Those are the real deal.

Don't like the way they've polished them to such a high gloss...looks tasteless.
