I did mine myself, bought the forms for 100 cedis for 32 pages and filled it online on 5 May, booked an appointment on 18 August because appointment was available from that date for Express so when done with the vetting which cost me additional 150 cedis for Express, i received an sms on the 10th of this month (November) that it is ready for collection and i've gone for it. Simple as that no agent, it just cost me 250 cedis for everything and it does has 10yrs expiration date, mine will expire in 2033. I prefer to let an agent do it for you if you'll be traveling very soon, if not then just pass through the normal process by yourself and save your money. Some agents charge 1500 cedis for the service.

There is a space for surname, first name and other names so if your are called George Smith Kofi Danso, put your surname Danso in the surname column, put your first name George in the first name column and put Smith Kofi in the other name column.
Standard appl. 32 pages is what's available now, just make payment and when you feel the forms and you get to where you're to choose your centre, choose PRIMIUM PAC. NOTE that you'll pay extra money at that centre. In the case where you've gotten admission or a job outside gh and you need it urgently, go with proof of your appointment or your admission letter from the school but make sure you carry more cash. Will be given a date to pick it up when it's ready
If your first name is hyphenated like George-Smith Kofi Danso, make sure to put both name George-Smith in the first name column, Danso in the surname and kofi in the other names column
I think on day of the interview you can go with any official document of your trading. It might be a receipt, inventory papers, an invoice etc. that shows the type of trader you are.

An alternate solution would be to pay the extra 150 for expedited appointment day if you’re yet to apply, you get some privileges with that. You should be able arrange something there

No there isn’t. I went for mine after the collection date. But I think if you take too long, when you finally show up they’ll give you a different date as your documents may have been moved to a different department after a while.

The immigration, they have your information already so I think you should get the Ghana card sorted out first & corrected before your passport application. A 2nd option is to get an Affidavit to indicate the correction in your date of birth and you add that to your passport application documents on your interview day. I think you would need a lawyer to sign off on that too. (Please seek legal advice if you decide to go this route)

The anti-bribery and corruption issues need to be fixed. How can passport fees in Ghana differ from the US? Common sense management needs to be addressed immediately. They are not even considering the right to institute an intake office worldwide so Ghanaians can be cared for. That is what happens when you put incompetence in place; everywhere is full of corruption, in my estimation

You don't need any proof if you're a trader...that's what it says on their website

It’s the same process but you have an additional session you fill out if you’re doing it for a minor.
