Chester never retired, that’s wrong, he and Phil had a falling out during the “Looking Back Tour” which was the last tour Chester played with Phil, Chester has talked about this in interviews and he’s gotten past it, but he and Phil hasn’t spoken to each other since then. Chester is still definitely active, he touring right now with Aussie Prog band Unitopia and he’s just released a new solo album.
Another great podcast! Was late starting to listen to these but have finally caught up to date. Thoroughly enjoyed all of them, even the ones with artists I don't follow that closely.

Gary Kemp's knowledge and appreciation of early Genesis is a very pleasant surprise. Loved this Thanks
I think we all prided ourselves on being able to sing "Supper's Ready" from memory ; )
A dream interview. And the knowledge and respect from the guys was just fabulous to witness.
“When you go from 4 down to 3...what was the next album called?”
“Duke....”
😆
The Boys are Back!!! Greatest shows I have ever seen were Genesis, brought to tears today with the announcement of US tour dates
Big news that the band has recorded their rehearsal and are making a documentary! Excellent to know we at least have that to look forward to!
Big up to you both, such fan boys and great to hear. Thanks
This was really a great interview. Amazing questions for Mike; not the normal ones he constantly gets asked.
Brilliant guys i really enjoyed this. Thank you
Genesis: notable for at one point including both the fastest and slowest talking men in rock, namely Mike Rutherford and Peter Gabriel!
Missed out "And The There Were Three". THE transitional album.
Great! I'm a big fan of the old Genesis!
Subtitles would be nice, my Brazilian's english can't capture it all.
Thanks a lot!
Now I can't unsee "A Fuck of the Tail" anymore.

America east coast, I hope Canada too!
Any footage of the guitars....?
Looks like it's only 17 ad breaks on this one. Woo hoo
What adbreaks? if you are dumb enough not to have adbock installed you deserve to suffer.
@@chetkayeable I just have an android phone, doesn't make dumb
it is on spotify
@@chetkayeable What a prick you are.
