- Here is a John Adams $1 gold coin from 2007 that i got out of a venting machine in 2008.im not sure if its worth anything i do see a / in the reeling were it says 2007 p.i do collect many coins but never saw this one until now.hope someone could tell me if its rare? i did a little research but do not see any with the / on that reeling.

All coins are struck like this. if you flip top and bottom, it will show right-side-up on each side.
All coins are the same, when the head is right up, the tail is upside down.
The coin is right. If you flip from the bottom up it will put the statue of liberty right side up. It's that way on all coins minted.

Your flipping it side to side. That’s why it’s up side down. If you flip it from top to bottom, then it’s the way all the dollar coins are. Put your fingers at the 3 and 9 o’clock on. The obverse, then flip it over. Then it will be normal. Your flipping it from the side position😊

i own 3 of these coins and they both have the liberty same John Adame 1797-1801
It is special. You should keep it. But try flipping it the other way and see what happens. Instead of left to right, flip it from the bottom. That’s “e pluribus unum” on the side. It’s on a lot of United States currency. It means “Out of Many, One” in Latin. These coins are from a series that are now discontinued and many of them have errors. The words “In God We Trust” was accidentally left off of many of them so they are also known as Godless dollars or coins and many have double letters.

Nope. Not rare at all. Every single US coin has this configuration. It's called "coin turn" die arrangement.

Flip it from top to bottom, not side to side. Look try it with a quarter. Also, on the edge it says E PLURIBUS UNUM. The Presidential coins are the only ones that have E PLURIBUS UNUM on the edge, but EVERY U.S. COIN has that on it.

All the scores were made the saying they're only about 35 coins like this one that is rare and they have an Archie on the back of the the Statue of Liberty so you have one of the coins is pretty normal

You have to flip the coin upwards or downwards and both sides will face up..
Have you ever looked at any of the other coins? Our coins do go head over. Canadian coins turn from side to side.

There's nothing wrong with this coin. Where you're heads on on the obverse side you flip it straight up and the statue 🗽 will be right side up.
No that's just how they are made. I have a lot of coins that are printed that way.
Mines got a D not a P and I think they’re normal flipped images

TheBeautifulGoldenhour All the coins do the same thing from 1996. Try any newer coins and it will flip the same way. Worthless play money. Most of it is Copper and it's light. Gold is heavy plus it's the size of a quarter. Worth 10.00 at the most and no it will never be worth a lot!

It's worth $1 because the coin is suppose to have that color and I'd not gold and every coin is flipped on the back side

I pulled them out and looked at them again. One is Rutherford B Hayes, 2 are John Quincy Adams and one is James Madison. They are quite common actually. There was a whole presidential series. I'm not sure where I got these. I pull my collection out every year around the first and go through them. I've had these for several years.
