I left a comment like this similar to this on another version but I had to reshare it… Myself and my daughter fell in love with Kimbra when we heard her vows album. I vowed to her that I would take her to a Kimbra show somehow someway. Now I’m 57 and she’s 27. After living life with some highs and way too many lows, I had the opportunity to take daddy’s little girl to see Kimbra in NYC!! It was one of the most memorable days of our lives !! Daddy and his princess watched with😢tears coming down our eyes as she sang this song. What a perfect ending to a VOW I made to my daughter…. Thank you Kimbra! Only yiu and only you could have made that come true!
I remember listening to this at her concert so excited to listen to the song at home and SO disappointed when the song wasn't this acoustic ballad of love. I pray she releases this more stripped down version 🥹
