Nice! This RGT looks like a solid option being the same vehicle as the Enduro 24. I have to say I laughed at the nice reference to Exocaged RC. Your clever edits don't go unnoticed :)
Nice in depth review bud I have the scx24 and really enjoy it, but I was going to get another 1 so that me and my lad could use them together in the garden but I think im going to get the RGT now after watching this bud 😀 👍
They're great little jiggers, these! The Enduro24 is the same, of course - both have that character that the more robotic worm-geared rigs are just lacking!
Happy New Year :). Thanks for constantly keeping my wallet empty and may you continue to make awesome content in the new year that keeps me a broke happy boy in '22.
@@RCTNT Planning to. I make no promises they'll be remotely functional. Lol. I've geeking out watching Abom79, This Old Tony and so on. They make it look so easy. Lol
New sub here. A bit late to the party, but I have the FTX Mini Outback 3.0 Ranger - AKA Defender ;) . FTX is for the most part RGT over here in the UK. Regarding the aft cg issue with the spare wheel. I mounted the wheel on the bonnet which helps and doesn't detract too much from the scale look (the wheel and tyre are huge and visibility out front would be a problem LOL). After all some full size Defender owners have done that. To cover up the hole in the rear door I mounted a 1/24th scale gerry can, again for looks :)
Nice! I’ve got 2 mini RC’s now including a customized SCX 24 with Furitek & a crap load of Treal upgrades but it’s kind of slow Tons of fork & I enjoy getting it out now & then. But this little one has got my attention. Thank you for the review. Where do you get them or should I say back order them. 🤙
My scx24 is upgraded too, but it just doesn't have the personality of a rig with transfer case and ring and pinion setup! I got mine back in late October from a local hobby shop on ebay. This is in Australia, of course. Not sure where to look elsewhere - I'd be googling, I guess!
I noticed they were both a rebrand a long time ago after buying both lol. I guess that's why there is no aftermarket support for them whatsoever is because some kind of agreement? Furitek posted today they are releasing a kamodo motor and trans for the enduro/rgt 24!
Loved that waterfall footage! That post at Instagram had me really looking forward to this. OK, so no contest, RGT >> Element's offering. I'm pretty sure Element has re-branded the RGT chassis rather than anyone stole anybody's property. I'm still on the fence for the bigger scale one you showed at the end, though. Just not happened as the price of them isn't right... for now! Btw, seeing the Arrma box in the background, did you get around fixing it yet?
Ah good, that makes sense (element rebrand). The 1:6 stuff will get big and pricing will be competitive, I think - but the big 6 already isn't bad at all - if you have somewhere to run it and somewhere to keep it! I ordered a replacement shaft for the Senton right after it broke. Should be here in the next week or so, hopefully.
@@RCTNT Oh, wait, maybe I wasn't clear enough. I didn't mean any 1/6 scale, but rather, the RGT "FJ-Cruiser-ish" 1/10, 1/12 or whatever that was... It was such a pleasant surprise on your review of it, it has just stuck on the back of my mind.. but so has a SC-type basher (and/or scaler-ish?) to be able to do a bit of everything with it... Senton video, I blame you!!
Rgt if buying on price. Scx24 if buying for body. RGT if buying for ring and pinion type diffs. Scx24 if buying for worm gears. Coin flip if buying for novelty. :) (PS. I have reviews for both plus the element Enduro24 on my channel, if you haven't seen them yet)
For sure. Even stock though, they're plenty capable. I'm loving the resurgence of this scale of crawlers. I was into them a decade ago, then things got quiet. And now they're back and better then ever :)
@@RCTNT this is my first crawler, I've had some other much more expensive RC trucks and cars in the past. idk, I just feel like I'm gonna have a bunch of fun with it as I already have, my cats love it!. There are two RGT Adventurers, apparently. This one definitely is that (see www.rgt-racing.com/cn_asp/productshow.asp?id=1137 ) but I understand the 136240 Adventurer was a pickup, too. It is confusing, they should have changed the name!
I suspect not, but haven't tested. It's honestly fast enough in its current form, I think. Different gearing setup means it's a similar speed to the scx24, though even if the RGT was on 2s, the worm-geared scx24 would have more torque on low speed obstacles. Its a personal preference thing, evidently - the scx24 is superior on low speed control in rough stuff, but I still prefer ring and pinion equipped vehicles like the Enduro24 and the RGT here. Nice to have the choice either way, eh? Cheers :)

I don't know what wire that is, sorry. But there are available jst ports that you could use to connect power for whatever vtx you're using
