Congrats on the 100th episode!!! I just want to say thank you. I got into fountain pens a year ago, only beacause I had a lot of cartriges that I needed to use up. I fell in love with fountain pens almost imetiately. Then I discovered you guys. I learned so much about the hobby, and now I look forward to the pencast every week. A little behind on the pen casts after a horrendous July and August! Baseball hail destroyed my car, roof and siding, then I had 3 kidney stones that had to be surgically removed. I'm finally feeling better and we're getting things fixed. So excited that you guys hit 100 and made it such a special episode! Can't wait for 100 more ❤

Oh and I do learn stuff too lol After hearing you both talk about the DC Pen Show, I will definitely visit it if I ever get to DC. I just recently placed my very first order with The Goulet Pen Company when I tracked down the Ferris Wheel Press Ink Carriage that was sold out worldwide, the service was great! I would order all the time if I wasn't in Australia, having said that, I didn't notice your ink sample vial holder when I placed my last order so now that I have seen it I have to have it so hopefully I will being ordering again soon :)
Drew, if you want to climb mountains, go through obstacle courses, and good-naturedly attack a bunch of your friends (and vice versa) may I suggest that paintball is the thing for you? It sounds like almost exactly what you're after, although to be fair, it can get pretty painful.
I left the Outer Banks at 4am to be there, and had to drive to Pittsburgh right after. TOTALLY WORTH IT. It was so fun to meet Brian and Drew! (Not to mention, I also went home with a grail pen.) 😆😆😆
Attending this show live is undoubtedely one of the best experiences I have ever had. Full of laughter, heartfelt emotions, smiles; the room had so much energy that simply cannot be captured on video. I have witnessed these gentlemen have so much character and finesse on video for quite some time, and let me tell you all, in person it is alive and well. Talking to them feels as you would imagine, like you have known them and been friends for quite some time. I feel blessed to have been there and be part of this beautiful celebration. Thank you, Brian and Drew, for simply being you. We all love and appreciate everything you do and have done for the community. If it weren't for you both, I wouldn't have fallen in love with this wonderful process with fountain pens or met this incredible, special supportive community. Love you guys ❤

I may have teared up a little when you guys introduced it as the 100th!! I know I don’t comment like I used to; this last year has been rough. But I listen every week and appreciate you. As far as why I watch… I like the new product info, learning new things about fountain pens and honestly you’re very soothing haha. But on a personal note, I think I enjoy it because you are so kind, honest, and unashamedly yourselves (rightly so). You’re a nerd who wears his heart and patches on his sleeve, and a business owner who puts his family first, and treats his company and customers like family. Brian, I’m the flustered girl (lady? I will add that your TH-cam channel was instrumental in showing me the different pens and nibs and such. I got into fountain pens probably 40 or so years ago, when I was in high school and I bought some cheap, gaudy fountain pen that had this horrible Chinese dragon design on it. I have no recollection of how well it wrote, etc. Fast forward to 2023 and, for some reason, one of your videos pops into my feed and away I go. A Pilot, a Lamy and two Jin Hao's later, I've even got items in a wish list for an upcoming birthday. My wife will be surprised I actually have something I want. LOL Thanks and congratulations!

I can’t believe I started watching mere seconds after it posted! I’m never that on the ball. I have to go to a pen show and I want to be able to meet you guys as much as I want to look at all the pens and stuff. You guys were a Godsend when I started my fountain pen journey! Your educational videos have made me comfortable moving from a Lamy Safari with just cartridges to a Visconti Voyager and syringe filling my converter, with relatively little mess. I’m still exploring and love the level of detail about everything on your site. You are my go to source for items and info. Michael Biehn is amazing! He’s one of those actors everyone ’knows’ but can’t tell you his name. I, on the other hand, know all the names and love those underrated actors. Congratulations on your 100th episode! DC was my first ever pen show and when I got there Friday I got to meet bot Drew and Brian! So glad to finally meet you guys. I had a somewhat similar experience to Drew's withe Rembrandt - Goulet Pens was the only seller who had the Dark Green - I do love the pen but the nib was - an is - a little annoying - skips sometimes on the upstroke. I did get another one - Orange - which was the newer version and I think they may have upgraded or changed the nib because it is a lot better. Love the pens - and the Pencast! Drew - it was great meeting you on Friday and thanks for giving me a sticker of your dog!

Thanks Brian and Drew! I can tell you why people watch your pencast. There are some people that are just made to listen to when they talk. And you belong to them. It is just nice to listen you, it is relaxing, even if your pencast would not be about pens, it would be pleasing to listen you.
I WAS Going to say that Drew's shirt was my favourite. But I just received a Kaweco Spot this week, and I kinda like it, and Drew started dissing Kawecos, so THTHTHTHTHTHTPPPTH to Drew and Brian's banana shirt wins. I recently got one and can say from personal experience that it's a real winner! Got some Scribo ink to run in the pen and that's an excellent pairing.
This was going to be my first show and I hate that I was sick and missed the entire thing and meeting you guys in person. There are some good moments worthy of creating new stickers from this episode for sure! "What the flex?"
Congratulations on this greatly enjoyable program reaching 100 episodes, guys! May there be many, many more to come! One topic hit me. What pen would I be? Probably a later 1930s Parker Parkette. Regularly work with a full bladder 😁, lower budget but tries to still look nice, generally a heart of gold. 😉 And, gotta admit, because they are a lever filler (Parker's dip into those, because "their lowest price range is the same as the competition's highest end") somewhat quirky on occasion. Like I tend to be most of the time. 😂
Guys and Adrienne, you nailed it, episode 100! I have enjoyed watching it here on the TH-camz! Sound and video were perfect! And I think it was also nice in real life. I'm pretty sure it's a challenge to get it nice both ways (vid and real life), so yay and great job.

Thanks Brian and Drew! I can tell you why people watch your pencast. There are some people that are just made to listen to when they talk. And you belong to them. It is just nice to listen you, it is relaxing, even if your pencast would not be about pens, it would be pleasing to listen you.

One topic hit me. What pen would I be? Probably a later 1930s Parker Parkette. Regularly work with a full bladder 😁, lower budget but tries to still look nice, generally a heart of gold. 😉 And, gotta admit, because they are a lever filler (Parker's dip into those, because "their lowest price range is the same as the competition's highest end") somewhat quirky on occasion. Like I tend to be most of the time. 😂

What fun it must have been to be there at the DC pen show. I found out from my daughter today that I apparently have a "parasocial relationship" with you guys, which is definitely not as creepy as it sounds. Congratulations on the 100th episode milestone!
My daughter met you, Drew, at the Triangle Pen Show, and saw you again in D.C. I haven't managed to meet you, at all! Every time she tells me, " I saw Drew," I go "Whaat?!" Apparently Robin has the Drew radar.😂

I guess I'm more of a visual person, so it is nice to be able to see clips of the products you mention. Wow, congratulations on episode 100, and it sounds like both of you had a lot of fun at the pen show!!! One of these days I'll make it to an in-person event, probably on the West coast.
