Where did you declare MW20 and how is it used ... M20.0 is shown to be used, however, the relationship between MW20 and its 8th bit and M20.0 is not shown ... how do you configure another digital alarm, for example, M20.1?
what to do with trigger bit ? here it is 8.
Why trigger bit for digital alarm is "8"? What will happen if I change it to other values?

I tried to change this bit from 8 to 0 (or other bits) and program didn't work in this case. But this is strange, that here choose 8 bit, because MW20 this is M20.0 - M21.7 and 8bit here is М20.7

Why the trigger bit is 8 in motor failed digital alarm ?
Actually, In Siemens Alarm Configuration Memory Word is considered for 16 bit. So different 16 digital alarm can be configured form single Memory word. For example if Trigger Memory Tag is MW10 then different 16 digital bit can be used for alarm trigger tag. Starting from M10.0 to M10.7 and next M11.0 to M11.7.

And trigger bit is "16" for next 8 bit of MW10.

+Nam Trương Hoài For Bool type alarm there is Discreet alarm option. For Example if motor is failed so it will generate discreet alarm
