Good job mate! This is impressive and probably the best perspective achievable in non-VR. But VR is still better IMHO. So nice to be done with memorizing brake points and just race by that seat of the pants feeling.

Thanks a lot mate! Yes i totally agree, even though I haven't tried it yet, but the videos showcasing the PSVR2 make me really want to get one.

This is great! I'd rather race like this than trying to get over VR sickness. can I ask what size monitor/TV is it mounted to your rig? what cockpit view setting do u use? Cheers mate!

Thanks man! And sure my TV is 43" 4K. I use the normal bit the offset cockpit view. I adjust it up and down, and forward and backwards depending on each car. My TV is also installed on a wall-mount with a moving arm, which i can move left or right to center the position of the steering wheel for different cars.

Just raced for 5 hours straight in VR with zero motion sickness. Lots of the tracks had elevation changes which usually make me sick in iRacing in VR, buts it’s just so smooth. PSVR2 is simply worth trying.

@The Wumpus I got the psvr 2, had it for 2 weeks now, i pre-medicate with dramamine, gum and use a fan to help offset the sickness. I still get nausea

You should start playing assetto corsa. It has slightly better driving mechanics and sounds.

I actually was addicted to assetto corsa long before GT7. And i actually disagree. GT7 is much more realistic in my opinion. And don't get me wrong, I'm really good in assetto too, but it just feels weird compared to the real thing. The physics in GT7 are much more realistic. And my judgment is basde on so many real life experiences i had. You just gotta have the right settings to get the good realism out of it. For example when in time attack mode you have to set the tire wear and fuel consumption to 1 and the grip reduction at the edge of the track to real and these change the physics a lot. Also when using a steering wheel, and contrary to what most people believe, the controller steering sensitivity affects the physics too, and it should be set to 5. I made a whole video about how to set the ffb settings covering this particular idea in a major part of it. Check it out if you like: th-cam.com/video/oEe5ZchqbMg/w-d-xo.html
