This is very different to the Dreamcatcher formula we are used to. But it is so very refreshing and quite a treat to the ears. This counts as a rock ballad i believe
I think the shot of SuA jumping off and reaching for the bird is a reference to the novel Demian - where the sparrow hawk is a symbol of independent spirit and rebirth.
Dreamcatcher's showing us again why they're the "Face of Rock in K-Pop", delivering on an anthemic rock ballad. This is just another example of Dreamcatcher taking their core sound and giving us something totally new. After almost 20 title tracks/singles they're still keeping it fresh.
That fluffy floating creature is properly Siyeon. She sacrificed herself to protect Sua (Suayeon❤️🔥), so in the scene where all 7 of them walking forward, Siyeon eventually stopped walking and the fluffy creature will accompany the members for her😭 Sua escaping from the exposed building without Siyeon proves this point. Also the scene Siyeon sitting in a not moving car is also a hint showing she is unable to continue the journey with the other members😢 But she's still smiling because she doesn't regret saving her love ones😭😭😭😭
If Siyeon died and took a different form, it would have been the dove Sua followed to escape the explosion. But the Siyeon death theory is interesting though.
"Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break, just like it can be good in a relationship to not be together all the time. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a seed. That leads my dark mind to believe that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on the way of wiping ourselves out. I could of course be wrong. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. I can also imagine they are building an ark to take plants and animals to another planet. It would make sense with quite a lot of the scenes in the MV. As you can see, my theory is not yet perfect. I also do not know why all three titles are in French. 😉 (And why are there 3 Damis with 7 shadows...) Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. We lost Leez as a producer, but the team around Ollounder did a fantastic job! And as a bass player, I can say the slap bass is crazy! I probably won't have to tell anyone that the visuals here are out of this world. I'm going to say it anyways: The members have never looked more beautiful, and the director and the visual effects team all deserve a raise!
Not Demian. Propose is the one that should have been the title track. It will destroy you. Don’t run away, you can’t escape my love I can’t let go I’ll cast a spell Our love’s a curse, but I can’t get enough Propose! Just before we die Pull you into my kiss Call me evil I’ll show you more I get what I want, but I can’t get enough Propose! With every touch, I feel the burn Love’s a curse
dreamcatcher \:D/ definitely very different from anything prior. seems to me the song is about a growing separation with one side saying it's too late for me so just leave. combined with the trilogy theme and mv visual imagery, you can then plug in the planet and humans, or them specifically not wanting to give up on the planet. leez was the edm side of past dc so I guessed they would go more rock and this sounds like an idol jrock song.
It feels like a beautiful culmination of Dreamcatcher throughout the years. What a great finale to an amazing trilogy.

Sounds like a CLASSIC Rock Ballad. Mellow verses and hard hitting chorus. Just the way I like it!
rock ballad, funk rock and pop rock in one song🔥. Meanwhile their b-side To You is a full Rock Ballad😍

Took me about 10 listens to really unpack the song. It's very complex and intricate. I wasn't sure at first, but now I love it.

Someone on twitter said that this song is like a love letter to Mother Earth because of how we've hurt her so much
It's exactly that. It hits hard when they say "maybe you don't, but I love you" 😢. Can you imagine how Earth might hate us?

Except Sua already said it's a seed. Siyeon is alive and breathing.

Ollounder: C'mon Master, I'm ready to go it alone.
LEEZ: Alright young padawan. Show us your stuff.
I don't think Ollounder was ever the junior partner - his name has been first on as many songwriting credits as LEEZ's was.
How is it possible for Jiu to get more beautiful with every comeback? Loved seeing the Korean Crow-Tit finally flying.
