160th Feast and Canonical Coronation of Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados de Muntinlupa
On May 12, 2023, the Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Abandoned in Muntinlupa celebrates its 160th Parish Fiesta and the Pontifical Coronation of the Our Lady of the Abandoned. The fiesta theme is “Blessed at 160: Continuing the Journey Together with Mary.” The Coronations mark the third Pontifical Crowned image in the Diocese of Parañaque. Making them have the “Tres Coronadas.”
The coronation rights were done solemnly. Unlike the previous Coronations rights which are festive, this one is solemn. It is also my first time attending the Coronation Rights. So the OLA of Muntinlupa has a special place in my heart.
