How do you test the link for voltage? I did the swapping the leads when jumping the car. I got Autozone to test and charge the battery overnight. After installing the car starts, but I have a bunch of warning lights and no output voltage at the stud on the alternator or at the stud at the base of the link. Just wondering if there's anything else to check. Thanks
More than likely other fuses blew as well.. or the inverter fried in the process
So by no start, it didn't react at all? Bc I have an issue where my headlights and interior lights work. But the car will not go into accessory mode or ready mode at all. The ignition doesn't even light up like it normally does, red when it's off and green when it's on. For me it's just black, no light at all. Could it be a fuse problem

Have you replaced your normal 12v battery?
@@owen7728 yea it was a security button under the steering wheel. It shut everything down so it wouldn't start up without pushing it again
@@terrabledsoe4812 yes and it did nothing bc that wasn't the issue for me. Turned out it was just a security feature where I accidentally pushed a button under the steering with my knee or foot while chilling in the car. The button causes the car not to start regardless of the key fob being anywhere in the car. I read up on it and it's there so if someone clones your key fob and they know nothing else about the car they still can't steal it

What caused it to fail? I recently ran into this problem on my Toyota crown and it was burned out. One section disconnected from the other.
