Would love to hear your take on things like the Schiit Gunnr, IOTAVX SA40. But I absolutely love the products you have already reviewed. You are becoming one of my favorite reviewers!
Great review. What a solid,, functional device. I would love to see more DIY videos. The CSS Audio kit you built, that finish was BEAUTIFUL. Or maybe even diagnosis and repair videos if you ever have something break.
@@MattCoykendall1 What would be REALLY interesting is a subjective review of a before and after with one of the GR Research upgrade kits. maybe with in room objective measurements too.
Yeah it would, and I do have a couple speakers that I own that he offers kits for. The issue is he doesn’t play ball on sending anything out for reviewers. That’s fine but it’s also not cheap and I risk modifying my own speakers (the video itself wouldn’t cover the costs). I have bought several items for reviews but I have to be pretty picky at my current channel size, working towards more freedom in the future for videos like that.
I would definitely do it if it was possible. I think it would be really cool to have a viewer driven review system where viewers could get the products through funding without the manufacturer involvement especially for the items that don’t make the usual review rotations.
Everybody went crazy over the Elac 3.0 bookshelf speakers but NOBODY has reviewed the towers. The mid section is internally sealed while the lower woofers are ported providing a unique sound. Would love to see a review.
I saw the Kickstarter for this, and was curious to see if it delivered on its claims. Thanks for doing a review. I am going to dock you 1 point for the unnecessary 4.4mm hater comment though, but only because it's my favorite connection for headphones and IEM's. People do buy custom cables, especially when it comes to Sennheiser products, and their often baffling choices. Just saying. Four stars, would recommend. Fast streaming. Review was as ordered.
Hi. Here are some products that are frequently recommended on Reddit but barely reviewed on TH-cam. ArtDJ Pre II phono amp. American made, 65 bucks on Amazon JDS labs Atom 2 DAC and separate Headphone amp. $130 each. American made. They have a bundle price for the stack Waxwing DSP phono amp. Its predecessor was reviewed on TH-cam to a medium/high degree. However the waxwing is not as prolifically reviewed. It too is American made and sells for about $500 XDuoo TA-22 and TA-32 Chinese made tube/hybrid DAC/Headphone amp combo unit. TA-22 is ~$500 and TA-32 is $1000. Is the 32 worth double? One last thing of which I’m trying acquire GOOD COMPETENT information: using an iPhone/iPad/iPod touch as a streamer going digital out, from the iDevice, to a DAC. Why would I pay for a few hundred to a few thousand for a simple streamer when I can use a dedicated iDevice (which most own already) device and put that money into a nicer DAC? Thanks
All good ideas, I’m not too concerned with the Chinese stuff, no shade, just way more interested in the American made stuff. I’ve fed my Geshelli j2s and ifi zen dac with my iPhone and it definitely worked great and ya I think more people should do it too before they spend big $ on a streamer that they may not need.

I appreciate the kind words! I will also take note of these two.

I completely agree, I am working on getting a couple DIY kits in hopefully sooner than later.

@@MattCoykendall1 That is a very good point. The kits are not cheap. Lets get some crowd funding going for it haha.
