I'm already enjoying the motley crew but so far, my favourite among the guardsmen is also the Mordian. My fave character in general is the commissar. She's funny, smart and dangerous.
44:17 catachans eat commissars for breakfast (not literally). theyre known for respecting only those who are as tough and reliable as themselves. officer position within their ranks are normally decided by vote. being "cadian" is an insult they would throw to other soldiers from different worlds. their regiments are regarded as an even worse assignment for commissars than even the krieg regiments unless the commissar in question deserves respect.
