I cannot express how excited I am to replay the entire campaign over a decade later with these insanely detailed models and for a while at least I expect to main this game so I can play all the custom games. I'm expecting a beta to be announced at Blizzcon (I SWEAR to god if blizzard makes me get a virtual ticket after having this game on pre-order for close to a year I will be BEYOND pissed) and the official release around Christmas, although I'm all for it coming earlier.
Because they will use the models the same way as starcraft II to make money of the skins in multiplayer. thats the first thing I thought when I saw that. but I'm fine with it. I might even pay for some of the models to implement in my online force.

Looks great, I just wish they made the chaos orc's skin more of a deep red like it used to be. Their new chaos orc models' skin barely looks red at all. It looks like a regular tan skin color.
You know whats really messed up? Most of the new units are what I remember the old units looking like O O I had no idea the original models were so damn simple. . . like woah. . . portraits I still prefer a lot of the originals, and environmental textures, but character models, my gawd, what an improvement!
Why did they change the catapults to demolishers back in the day? It was catapults for RoC...then Ballistas/Catapults became Glaivethrowers/Demolishers
5:31 The wyverns look amazing, I just worry that the team might be confusing as they don't have any variating colours. Or perhaps the tone of the skin itself might fade a bit into the color it is supposed to depict.

I am more interested on how they will improve the Warcraft Editor. If they upgrade and made the Warcraft Editor a bit more powerful and less constrictive, Warcraft 3 modding will be back in business, just like how Skyrim modding is still going strong.
Where is the pig farm? I know it's a campaign building, but would be useful for a custom map... Also the other models are gonna be great and wonderful... More useful models in which Gul'dan can be more into this thing I am working on etc... And his followers too with Cho'gall and the Twilight's Hammer...

I really hope they put some fire effects in the many torches on units like the spirit walker or buildings like the altar of the storm or the sawmill,it looks a bit lifeless without em. Also I hope they'll make the Blademaster's blade shine like the Wc3 og model.
I dislike how they followed the WoW concept giving Grom that brutish look i always pictured him as an agile and tall thin-muscular orc mixing speed and strenght with his ferociousness

This is why I need to get a pc. I miss the OG Warcraft and Diablo games. I wish they would remake all of them. I doubt you could find the 1st 2 Warcraft games and actually get them to install.

It took forever because it would give you a list of different readers for video and sound and I didn't know which one we had to I would click on one see if that worked, then if not delete and tried again xD. Such a hassle, but loved those games so much. Got me through a lot in middle school.

@@serkg4672 DotA is not a mod, it's a custom map. And I would think it's inevitable that someone will definitely create a DotA map again.
Funny thing is that I actually remembered the old units like the new ones are now. Back in the day that was top notch graphics. :)

Old wc3 units stood out more due to colour but the reforged versions looks flat hopefully they fix it

When you select faction, will it say "random, human, orc, undead, night elves" or "random, alliance, horde, scourge, sentinel" ?
In some pre-beta footage, it showed Human, Orc, Undead, Night Elf just like the classic version. Might change, who knows.

Corrupted orcs with dedicated models, not just a recolor, and named heroes with a specific model, wonderful.
Yeah, they went above and beyond with the models. It's more evident with the campaign Paladins.
