I'm a PRS guy but man do I love my Ibanez guitars, too. They make quality instruments from their cheaper lineup all the way to the premium guitars! PRS and Ibanez are the best in the business in my opinion! Awesome video as always Alan!
really really wish Ibanez would reissue their 70s neckthrough "musican" series or the greatful dead-sh moddels or pf-200s !!!!(ive been playing ibanez semi hollows for years after my gibson 71 walnut 345 stereo was ripped off ......they make great stuff

You're welcome. My first Ibanez experience 15 years ago was not great. I got an Artcore and hated it. Then I got an RG350M and just liked it okay. But my PS120 is great and all three of these lower priced ones that I've done recently have really been great! Happy Friday Mike!
Bought my son an Ibanez bass for his birthday. $349 and it is gorgeous in person. Paint and fretwork is flawless. I’m really impressed with the quality for the price.
Ibanez makes good stuff. Things I always check are how long is the sustain, how rough are the frets against the palm of my fingering hand and how well does it stay in tune.

@@9unslin9er different strokes for different folks. Those are great options too. In fact I have all of those myself. However my go to guitars are Floyd’s with Evos. My son is a Les Paul fan…and yet I still love him!
I have fender strats, inc.the jimi hendrix edition, teles, lots of Gibson Les Paul's, Music Man, PRS inc a silver sky ,Epiphones and a Saul Hudson (Slash) edition.
@@GearGasms I am gonna have to wait on that. I got my eye on the Blackstar debut 50r. I really want a solid state amp. I got the Katana 100 head but it a bit of a hassle to use.
@@GearGasms dont get me wrong its a good but its such a hassle to get it hook up to the laptop and going through hoops to get the tone I want. Im a boomer with limited time, i spend more time dialing in a tone than actually practicing. 🤣🤣🤣 . Yes I know I should save the settings but its still a hassle. I have my eye on the blackstar debut 50r. It sounds good. Its solid state and has an effects loop. I would rather deal with a pedal board than a laptop.

@@Thedownboysfan I had a Jem7V. Was not a fan of the tone. Not a fan of Vai's tone in general, and no amp tweaking made them any better.
Is the neck thin? I prefer thin necks on my guitars. You play like me, good but not good enough, lol
