In navamsa chart , Navamsa comes second to a birth chart in Vedic astrology and is mostly used to analyze marriage, the strength of the planets, and the destiny of the native. A D9 chart has to be read in tandem with the D1 chart to make predictions about the future of a person.
What can be predicted from navamsa chart?
Navamsa is a chart that holds prime importance in marriage prediction and forecasts about the married life. Many Vedic astrologers never predict the Rashi chart without the Navamsa chart. Therefore Navamsa is also known as a supplementary chart to the Rashi chart.
A Navamsa is equal to one-ninth part of a sign or one nakshatra-pada (one-fourth part of a constellation) and is one of the Shodasvargas i.e. one of the sixteen sub-divisions of a sign that give more and more precise good or bad position of a planet or lagna-point in the natal-chart vis-à-vis other signs and sign-lords .
A planet occupying the same place in birth as well as that of the Navamsha chart is supposed to be very powerful. The analysis of Lagna Chart only gives a gross indication about various houses and Planets. Thus the Navamsa is very important chart in astrology and for deeper understanding we need to use Navamsa chart.
In Vedic Astrology, we can look at two aspects of one's destiny and karma. The natal chart is based on the moment one took first breath, and the Navamsa is the marriage/second half of life chart.
