Comentary is so mundane. But it's such a critical part of the depth of the game. Especially in the category of sports games. Can you imagine watching an NBA game without the live commentators? That's what madden feels like. I urge some of you loyal Madden fans to try playing FIFA, the commentary and overall crowd sense is so immersive, it made the action daunting and heart-racing to an extent to where you feel like you're there. The depth of the game will directly correlate to user experience, I URGE YOU ALL TO MAKE THIS A BIG HEADLINE
To me a few problems with Madden Is they don't focus on how Players interact with each other and how Games look on Sundays. They don't have Players slap each other on the Helmet or on the backside after big catches or after getting sacks etc...And when are they ever going to get rid of this tackle animation? 5:52 I remember that tackle animation Madden 06. The Crowd and sidelines look lifeless once you see them up close. They don't show the Player on the sideline standing at the table drinking Gatorade after scoring a TD or after getting a turnover looking extra thirsty or really cold Games where Players got the big Coats on. I don't think Players ever take their Helmets off or have them sitting on top of their heads. The Crowd reactions should be so much better because they stay cheering no matter what's going on. They took away booing which makes no sense because booing Is part of the Game. Could you Imagine If The NFL told the Fans they're not allowed to boo during the Games. And last Every Player has the exact run animation. They just have some Players with faster footsteps and others slower but they all run exactly the same.
You're most definitely over exaggerating with the "amazing" part. It is not amazing what so ever but it's better than last year which is not saying much at all considering they did it better way back in the early 2000s with the ps2

In this case they are dealing with 22 characters with 3 or 4 new refs added in to not have foot sliding. Also there has been turnover in their dev teams year over year. I look at this as a positive turn and yeah Ive played madden for a long time and been a developer- so yeah this is pretty amazing.

It’s just tough to make the same game feel fresh and new each year- and that timeline of a year to overhaul things is really tight. They could be dealing with legacy code from years past, plus team turnover and bugs! I’m rooting for them to make the best madden possible so that we as consumers win. Also giving other devs like 2K a chance is also another opportunity for us to win. Sadly it’s the only game in town at the moment and I see signs of this year being better than in the past!
I like how they fixed the defensive AI to help reduce spamming the same youtube plays. It makes the game feel more realistic. I hope they fix 4th down. Too many ppl go for 4th down, then quit when they don't convert. Make it harder to convert and players might punt the ball. Hence, more realistic.
Gameplay definitely looks faster and more smooth. Saw some catches on the run which finally looks smooth. More animations all around. Player models look way better! There are improvements… That commentary though…. Ffs EA do better!! That’s just unacceptable!!

Looks like they have refined the gameplay, it looks smoother. I’m considering buying it this year. I haven’t bought a Madden since like 20 or 21. I usually play the trial and wait for it to come to Gamepass. But I reckon I might cop it this year. The gameplay looks pretty good tbh.

I think that’s a user issue a couple times je chose the wrong hole. And also if you press turbo before the line of scrimmage DLs will block shed faster as a balancing mechanic. You gotta run like in real life. Patience, see the hole then burst

C-Mac always goes straight to the ground after the initial tackle…so realistic EA. Also the movements look stiff and glitchy as always. Offensive line still can’t block to save their lives. I can’t believe y’all keep buying this recycled garbage every year. 🤦🏿♂️
