Unbelieveable ! 😍 What a transformation. Not in my wildest dreams i could have imagined what a beautyful place it is again ! From a no-go rathole to the beautyfull, maintained place it is now 👍 ! Remember the 90's and 2000's when police helicopters hovered the area around Saratoga Ave. and Tygerberg Flats as they not even dared to enter the building 😄. But now look at this ! What a great example of successfully bringing an icon back to life ! 👍

It certainly needs modernising but from what I’ve heard it looks better than it did it needs play area for the children to play a few shops ie supermarket it has lot potential for sure

Well done a big improvement on what it had become. Bit nothing like it was back in 1984 i lived in flat 2213 .in them days we had a small swimming pool at the bottom a supermarket , a bowling alley a Launderette, a restaurant and a hairdresser, not to mention security. Credit where is due but not a patch on the old ponte of 1984.not by a mile

I booked a tour for 50 people through dlala nje of Ponte and it was a disaster. The guys were rude and more interested in talking about their cool lives rather than the history and what was sold. Facilitated badly and not safe for big tours.
We wanted to donate furniture to the area downstairs for the children and were told that they do not want junk, without seeing what the client wanted to donate.
Great idea but terrible execution

thanks this was great to watch. a quick question. is this a privately owned property or is it owned by a load of private companies? coz I have heard different things . when I was in jobber in 2018 I went past this place a few times and I was based in a nice part of jobbergI(im from uk) and Ponte city wasn't looking welcoming at all
The building is owned by a SA logistics company called Kempston group.
Would love to visit this tower !
I would be afraid to go up that high, that building is too tall
I think the build is good 👍 infrastructure,roads,internet,and farm in the building did you know south africa is expected to be first world 2030
