Beautiful work! I'm in the process of assembling a Katie right now--do you have any tips on how to bend the arms on the "penguins" for the weigh shaft? The instructions say "use a pair of pliers" but I can't get them to budge :(
Nm, figured out what you mean. Basically it involved a lot of violence. There's only a couple of mm for you to grasp too, but if you have a tool that is long and can be locked in place it'll help. Also invest in a bench vice. If Doncaster is within reasonable distance you can arrange for RH to sort your chassis and do your timing.
@@EastCoastSteam4468 Thanks so much! I attacked 'em again after this and was able to bend them into shape--just didn't want to risk snapping them, y'know? I'm U.S.-based so a replacement (or chassis assembly) would be pretty difficult haha
