I have a simple solution for this issue. If music is included in a video, it gains a percentage of that videos revenue. BUT it depends of the length of the video and the length of the song used. So if it's a 5 hour video using 3 minutes of copyrighted music, 5 hours = 300 minutes, so 100% 3 minutes is 1 percent of that, so it earns 1 percent of that revenue. If it's a 60 minute video with 20 minutes of copyrighted music, they take 33% of the revenue.
