What if Nerf made a stock that had the same walkie-talkie functionality as those Air-warriors blasters, but could be attached onto any N-strike compatible stock extension? I'd personally like that!
I went to a family friend's house, and their son had this same gun which intrigued me for the same reasons Coop was--for an "off-brand" nerf gun, it felt surprisingly easy to handle, and it was a LOT of fun to comfortably shoot despite it looking so "dinky". According to the father, he said "this one actually stings!" so it has a pretty solid shot, as described more officially by Coop's chronograph results. It's actually not too shabby on accuracy either, and I think the powerful shot helps keep the arc to a straighter line (if that makes any sense). Either way, thanks Coop for reviewing this!
I have had many of these kinds of bolt action buzzbee blasters and let me tell you, they are not slow. I reached a point where I could load in a dart, fire, and load again in the same amount of time as priming a retaliator.
Smle rifles were also made into obrez pistols as well. You can still legally make obrez mosin pistols as long as you have the right machinery. They usually aren't anywhere near as stripped down as the one in bf1 I'm sure you're referring to.
The WW2 pistol you are referring to is a ‘Wellrod’ I believe... created by Winstons Churchill’s ‘workshop’ for the British special forces back then (predecessors to SAS). Modernday ‘vetenary pistols’ are very similar in nature in that they also feature an integrated supressor (or ‘silencer’) and have the magazine as the grip (sortof). I am a firm believer of the idea that this modernday version is built with a different clientèle than vetenarians in mind though... Back to the topic at hand: very well put together video Coop! Being able to give information that seems at times an open door without being judgemental about it yourself is a gift! Keep ‘em comming.
Fun fact; since there are screws that hold the stock on, you can technically turn it into a nerf obrez by unscrewing the whole stock and essentially turning into a pistol.
This can be a fun project to recreate a WWII looking rifle. lengthen the stock, add aesthetics to the front and add a barrel. you can make a Kar98k, Enfield, or Mosin Nagant, Mas 36, Arisaka, or 1903 out of this

Group 1 Would talk to group 2 and vise versa. Basically, 2 sniper teams giving recon information. Then one of the people with the blasters would contact a 3rd dude in the main assault squad near the back, which would provide the info for the leader. Squad 1 and 2 exchange info on the Green frequency and Group 2 and 3 would exchange on Red frequency. That way you could plan your battles without having to get shitty spy kids stuff or REAL gear that costs lots of money!

To keep cost down I imagine. The package has two blasters, walkie talkies, and headphones. They'll get more sales if they can keep it cheaper and have ok guns rather than expensive and nice ones.

I got this for my birthday once. On the first day of using it, both of the thing u load it with didn’t work and kept going back after I pulled it back. Then, we returned them and got new ones, but the same thing happened. It firing and the walkie talkie were pretty good, so that was one of the most disappointing parts about. I don’t know if I was the reason they broke, the quality of the gun, or if it was the ones I bought.

Grown adults like us have hands big enough for the old shot gunners trick of rolling an extra shell into the breech with the left hand. Might make that first follow up shot a little quicker.
Just slap a slam fire stock onto it, maybe try to integrate a Raider/rampage mag well and you have a really good bolt action. Maybe fix the grip too. Putting a Nerf barrel on the end would also be pretty nice.
