- This is a long video mainly because the course was about 14.5 miles and took over 40 minutes for a lap, and then I put in a little bit of the last lap when I started to get the hang of the track and conditions (SAND) when trying to make a couple of last lap passes.
First off - I gotta apologize for cutting another rider off, on a Kawi I believe, when I thought I had got the jump on him coming out of a corner. I didn't look right, and didn't see him come back into view until we almost collided - or maybe we did. Karma caught up with me though - as I was taken out twice by other riders. One crashed me then him and his bike fell on me - trapping me under my bike.
This was the my hottest temperature race of the year so far which made me realize I need more hot weather training. In fact it was so warm that my fan started running when I got up to the starting line.
I did make some suspension changes for the sand and once I got into a groove and got a flow I felt way better. So, that's why I said I would take my liking of the sand from 'absolutely hate' to 'extremely dislike'. But if you are a sand motocrosser then this course is for you.

Thanks. I struggled a bit here but did better on the sand this time than I have yet. I wish I had been able to get back up quicker though. I lost too much time on the ground and getting rolling again.
The guy you bumped on the Kawi is my friend. He did go down and was stuck momentarily on a log. I rode with him yesterday and he is all good with it. Rubbin's racin'. I enjoy your videos. Keep 'em coming!

That was a tough ride!! Thanks for the video i was on the kawi 62. I dont think we hit each other i swerved and caugjt a log? Lol
Yeah it was tiring. Good - I swerved too and went off but luckliy didn't catch a log. Regardless, I would have let off or stayed on that far left line if I had seen ya sooner.

No- didn't come close to winning this one. haha I had a really bad first lap that put me back to 10th. I rode better the next two laps but only made up one more position before the end. I did get more valuable experience in the sand though.
