    This isn't a restoration, it's just a quick and poor cosmetic job with quick clean up and respray. The whole body is full of corrosion marks and uneven surface metal that should have all been treated with rust remover, then apply filler and sanding. And why use a grinder in a haphazard way on the brass part which just scratches it, rather treating surface oxidation with a salt/vinegar mixture then put on a polishing wheel! You were lucky that the component parts weren't so rusty they wouldn't come apart as you didn't bother with any WD40 either to ease up corroded parts and make removal easier.
    Just wondering if you've ever done any proper restoration work before or just tinkering because this is the worst job I've seen on any of the restoration channels. You should see how others do proper work, then start on something simple... like sorting out your electrolysis crocodile clips and leads which are in terrible shape!
