Just done similar on our S80 D5 except still have the cat. No owls though so might consider removing the cat too! (guess the cat is scaring the owl away lol)
I plan to get either the s60 or v70 with this engine. It seems like the perfect car for me. Not too expensive, very low consumption and awesome sound with well enough power. Also I totally dig the interior. It looks modern even for today
I did it not by myself, it did master, so I can describe it. But you can see in this video. Muffler , silencers and catalizer, all were removed. After was welded "Y" shaped straight pipe. That is simple. It cost me ~120eu for work and materials.
Customer: "I want my exhaust to sound like an owl."
Mechanic: "Say no more."
Yeh Volvo always nail it with the 5 cylinder engines.

if you still haven't made the decision, buy V70, becouse S60 is known for more problems
@@rutles222 thx for the tip. Right now the biggest decision I can make is if I buy 4 liters of gas into my old pos skoda or ride a bus 🤣🤣😁😁

Volvos are durable, a friend from me who works at a Volvo dealer has an 2004 S60 with 980.000 km. Those cars last if you take care.
