I think that's for doctor-sent chiropracting. Like when a doctor sends you over. Idk man.
Not always. It's standard practice but not always necessary. It's a case by case basis kind of thing. My chiropractor asked me for X-rays but said in the meantime, I can come in for adjustments because he couldn't see or feel any obvious abnormalities and my complaints were more related to stress and muscle tension than spine or joint problems.
I want to see the result after this treatment. Otherwise, i assume they are paid for view's patients only.

I have knots in tendon in right upper arm due to shoulder impingement of close to 5 years. Just went though physical therapy but feel I still have same issue. My right scapula makes a crunching noise. Don't know if I will ever recover from this.

What are 'knots' and how you can find them on your body?
They're tissue/muscle that are tense and aren't able to relax
If you read the contemporary literature you will learn that we cannot melt the knots and we cannot palpate the knots and finally we dont know how are the knots and how we can find them. I was hoping that this practioner (dr Tyler) will answer to my quenstion. He never answer to my comments because he cannot support his opinions. He has very poor education and he is a very bad practioner. He believes and states opinions from 1980.

Can he diagnose someone with scoliosis?
Technically he can do that, but I would go to your primary doctor for a diagnosis so it can be in your medical record for insurance purposes or health related issues down the line.
