My favourite taeyong song from his SoundCloud is Blue (highly recommend it), then dark clouds and then rose. That's my top three. I also like this one but it took me more than one listen to fully appreciate it.
Everything Tayeong has on his soundcloud is so good. Blue is a beautiful song, Monroe, Rose with Seulgi, Dark Clouds, etc. they're all soooo good. He's so talented though I didnt expect to not like his original music

The lyrics on these youtube videos are not exactly the same as he has never released the official lyrics for any of his songs on SoundCloud.

The flow of this song is a bit unusual. Honestly the transition between baekhyun‘s opening and taeyong’s rap was really abrupt to me at first too since I was expecting a song inspired by Marilyn Monroe to sound slow and sensual (like Baekhyun‘s opening) but about halfway through the song I started to love it . His song blue also has a lot of transitions bcos the first part is like a ballad and the latter parts are like rock. All his songs are so different from each other. Thanks for the reaction

none of these are official releases which is why they’re on soundcloud so no need to pause lol! SM and other companies are notorious for upkeep of the specific image they create for their artists. In addition, they simply just don’t grant solos or a ton of creativity without a toooooon of “screening” so to speak. many many artists will write songs either for their group or themselves to hopefully solo, and their company may reject 10 songs and MAYBE accept 1. For example Sehun’s song On Me for EXO-SC wasn’t approved by SM despite fans asking for a studio vers for ages. He had to fight for it to be on the album. It’s a rarity and we all hate companies for it lol. Anyways, yes no solo for TY as of now so he’s doin that shii himself. He has a ton of producer friends who work w him together for producing for all these tracks, and he ofc writes them. I believe(?) BLUE is composed entirely by himself though.
